well if you dont want any damage...then perhaps a bit of adrenaline would help with your energy management. try using "Watch yourself" or "Go for the eyes"

To echo the above post, Racthoh's build (using There's Nothing To Fear/Save Yourselves/Focused Anger/Aggressive Refrain) is very good.
If, like me, you haven't got enough Kurzick/Luxon faction to get Save Yourselves, then try the following build.
Spear of Lightning
Aggressive Refrain
Go For The Eyes!
Shields Up!
Watch Yourself
Stand Your Ground
There's Nothing To Fear
Signet of Return
One spear attack skill, one IAS skill, one party-wide damage booster, four party-wide damage reduction skills and a rez. The two adrenaline skills, GFTE and WY, will help tremendously in keeping up your energy and Aggressive Refrain. Just remember to alternate the armour-boosting skills, as multiple armour buffs cap out at +25 (which is why Save Yourselves is so good).
This build got me as far as Level 1 survivor (where I was able to get Focused Anger, so swapped out Stand Your Ground). Currently working slowly towards Indomitable Survivor.

Then be a monk or a necromancer, otherwise you are just a bad Paragon.

You don't seem to understand, I don't want all heal. I want to keep my team alive, and help them do damage. Isn't that what a supporter does? Out of my 2 elite skills I do have focused anger. Nembool, awesome build, I'm going to try it.

Yes that is what a supporter does, but a Paragon that is full support with no damage fails.

You say that all you want to do is support your team. Paragons have the best ranged damage output in the entire game. To not put any damage on your bar would be crippling yourself and your team. My suggestion is to support your team with good skills but don't sacrifice your ability to deal damage either.

*God mode warning*
Spear of fury, "save yourselves","there's nothing to fear"[skill]wild throw[/skill][skill]focused anger[/skill][skill]aggressive refrain[/skill][skill]anthem of flame[/skill][skill]signet of return[/skill]
Anthem can be changed to something else if you like. Basically You guarantee god mode to all other members to party. This is enough to put any non armor ignoring dmg down. Now other members can focus on damage or getting rid condition masses and hexes. But only downside is: you really cant aggro group without being sure you're safe. Everyone will be targeting you coz 100 lower armor rating. And spam "save yourselves" like no tomorrow (sometimes there really is no tomorrow without spamming)
Combine with two other paragons and kiss goodbye to almost everything.

For some reason I have to disagree with said above:
the hostiles don't target you.
Infact if they attack the person with the 'lowest' armour they seem to look at the armour itself not including armour debuffs (cracked armour) or buffs (save yourself).
Well that always seems to happen to me.
Also IMO when using SY it is best not to use other adraline based stuff.

Explain me why they almost always target me then? I have 635 hp and 80+8 armor (shield doesn't meet req). And for adrenaline skills, who cares, I run anthem of fury paragon with me to make sure i have adrenaline.

well I wouldn't know guess they hate you for some reason.
But on all the areas I vanquished I used sy+ar+... and most of the time I was the last man standing... and AI doesn't look smart enough to start counting really.
btw shield doesn't meet req ??? when using that build ? you go 12 spear ? okay...
Well even with anthem of fury on a hero you still should have only sy running as the only adraline skill on your bar even if it is only for safety IMO.

Why? It's not like a few seconds without +100 armour will wipe your party

That's the exact same as calling a prot monk useless. That's bull and that comes from an unexperienced player.

Then ask any of the known-to-be experienced players on here....
A pure support Paragon fails.

Personally I'd drop the command rune for either a Vitae or Clarity rune. The slightly higher critical % chance won't be missed on GftE!.

Depends on the area. Charr Flameshielder dropping a Meteor Shower in hard mode on a ball of henchmen with the Firestorm already going and the Charr Axe Wielder just landed a Bull's Strike (on Mhenlo, again) will lead to a wipe if that SY drops at the wrong moment. I know in those situations I'm mashing SY while rocks slam into the rest of my group's face.

If you're running in first there is a good chance you'll be hit regardless of your AL or health. I'll always approach a group, call a target so everything else runs in, and I never seem to get attacked. I'll get hit by the odd AoE spell, or if something that is being attacked kites through me the chasing mob will change focus.

Agreed. Pure support paragons bring the same, if not more, skills to move the bars up than a monk does. Something is wrong with that.

When it comes to NM your right.
But try jade brooderhood on HM... these guys can teamwhipe you verry fast (and they love to mob up). SY is a lifesaver here. There are alot of other mobs that can cause the same thing so if you are fighting on HM.
It is way safer to spamm sy all the time.
