Only if he already has a Kurz/Lux rank and his guild is allied to a faction.

Aaaaagh. I have Kurzick R3 - I just never even thought of the Faction NPC in my Guildhall. Doesn't really matter though - I wanted to get "Friend of the Kurzicks" out of the way on this character and also I was only Kurzick R2, wasn't going to bother with SY until it was 4 seconds, and despise doing FFF. So doing all the quests and clears was a fun way to get the next level on that.
Now to win about 25 AB's this weekend to get Spear of Fury up to 3 adreniline

Although i see so little paragons and people dont wanna play them for missions...
Is there sumthing bad about them or what?

People don't like a class that has skills able to make the whole party invincible while still dealing damage on par with warriors? Apparently most of pve players are actually incredibly good who like to gimp their parties to make it more of a challenge.

I have a paragon, and I think that paragons are completly underrated. Also I think the reason male paragons are so unpopular is the they wear skirts.

My friend just joined a PuG for fun in Gate of Pain....
He was the monk, and the team had 7 Dervish.
The Dervish claimed that they did not need a second monk because they all had monk secondaries.
Not much else to be said.

I love how proactive I can be w/ my Paragon - ok, so we'll now get healed the next time we take damage, get healed for the next spell we use, your next 2 attacks will remove a condition, oh, and just for fun, you'll set enemies on fire w/ your next attack.
A paragon is basically a really badass motivational speaker. Except this one throws sharp sticks at other people and doesn't wear pants.
Pants? Pants!? Pants are for wimps!!!
Anyway, the key is combining a good way to keep the adrenaline coming in, and keeping AR going via shouts & chants. That's not even considering how you can keep a never ending supply of energy coming.
My only complaint is that i wish we could dye the white parts of the armor instead of the trim...

I'm fairly new to GW (started playing 08/07), but so far I've seen Paragons are the hardest to play with since its the only proffesion where you cant play great by just doing one thing only. You have to do everything and no one will ever notice it. Fight, heal, defend, revive ASAP,absorb damage from whoever is about to die , then defend again, help other players gain more adrenaline and energy. I dont even know why Paragons have the 2nd proffesion option.

You are completely right, paragons can be the substantial back -bone of a team...and the team not even notice it! But the place where it is easily recognized is HoH.....go look at some of the para build....enough said

I've used a Paragon Build with 12 Motivation and 0 Spear Mastery, I didn't use Aggressive Refrain I primary loaded it with Healing and Support Skills.
The Bottom Line: the Paragon is a Support Class. "SUPPORT" as in you help the Team fill a gap that is needed. If a team needs extra healing (ie: 1 monk in the group) Go motivation and load up with healing skills. Command Paragons help provide buffs to players, and Groups that need extra damage use Spear paragons.
Just like Monks support with Protect or Healing, Ritualists Spirit Spamming, Damage Dealing, or Healing. Paragons need to fulfill a team's needs either Healing, Buffing, or Damage. Just comes down to what groups need and Adapting your build to help the team out.

Uhhhhh... yeah... about that... thats why my Paragon's a Female. I just can't take those guys seriously in their shiny metal skirts and Mid-Drift bearing breastplates. My personal opinion but I think only girls have the ability to look great with exposed mid-drifts, and skirts.

Then you failed at Paragoning....unless this was before the Motivation nerf in which case it could be worthwhile.

No offense isn't that kinda short sighted?
When asked to go Motivation my standard build would be 12+ Motivation but I supplement my skills like with Tactics Shouts, Condition/Hex Removal, or of course Spear Skills.
Never tried serious PvP with it except RA with good success but It works well in PvE.
You say I failed as a Paragon I only look at the fact that as a Motivation Paragon I keep my team at full health, I never get complaints from the people I play with, and I get an occasional "gj" after a mission or quest..... so yeah I don't know.

i agree with you. i personally focus on reducing the overall damage by using shouts and chants from para and warrior...or in other cases/ para monk

Don't worry, Kwan Xi, some people like to bash others when they don't conform to cookie-cutter builds.
