ParaThumper, anyone have a build that works, and is it worth playing?

I'm assuming you mean a Paragon with a Hammer that makes use of [skill]Awe[/skill]? It's a weak build and would only work well in RA.

Yea going for spear swipe and just adding [skill=text]Shock[/skill] or [skill=text]Iron Palm[/skill] to KD for [skill=text]Awe[/skill] is much more effective, no need to spend points in any attributes with that.

the term "Thumper" means:
a Ranger that uses a Hammer and abuses the Expertise primary attribute. most versions come with a pet, and usually RaO too...
there is also the "Spear Chucker" which is a Ranger that uses a Spear and abuses the Expertise primary attribute. most versions come with a pet, and usually HaO too...

so, since you're reffering to paragorns, are you asking if a Paragorn can play a Thumper or you want the Spear Chucker build for R/P?

for some reason I assume you mean the first option, to that I'll say no, only a Ranger can play Thumper...
however a Paragorn can use a Hammer if he really wants, but its pretty pointless...
the best(and only) build I saw for a Paragorn with a different weapon is the ToF Tank using an axe and Triple Chop...

and the point of this post is...? People been calling the ParaThumpers ever since the nightfall pvp preview weekend bro.

Likewise the commonly used term for the R/P has been Pack Hunter.

back on topic, Id say try using some hammer skills that go with weakness and use anthem of weariness. Forget that AWE crap, its not worth your time.
