Paraway? where?
Can anyone point me to the Paraway thread? I have heard about a build from Racthoh called paraway (I believe) but cannot find the thread in question.

Rachthoh's buld's work pretty good. I've used in on my tank (with Dragonslash and SY!), and it does very very well.
However to me paraway means an all paragon group. The pvxwiki link that was posted.....was interesting.
My guild runs a modified version of the old all Para FoW thread for, well, FoW:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...on+FoW+Cl ear
Essentially, we kept the SoR paras-they work excellent, so why mess with 'em
The other 2 support paras we tweaked. The condition removal para runs Song of Purification and Mend Ailment and I swapped out Anthem of Flame for Ballad of Restoration. It works MUCH better in areas I vanquished (I used it on a hero-I bet a person can run it better though). The Hex remover (a MUST in FoW-SS will rip you up!) we've been toying with Divert Hexes and Cure Hex. Once again HM has shown that to be a little more effiencient, but we're working out energy issues.
As for the attack paras, we have one guy running Focused Anger, Save Yourselves! and There's Nothing to Fear. This essetianally makes any damage we take next to nill.
We also use one Cruel Spear para, Crippling Anthem para, and a Dazing Spear para. Currently we're planning on replacing the Crippling Anthem one with a Anthem of Guidance with Anthem of Fury. WIth human players we try to keep a TNtF chain going, so there's always at least 30% damage reduction.
I'll admit we haven't done a full run as of yet. This is primarily to do bad timing with our members-as of yet we haven't suffered a party wipe. There were several times when we should've if we had a normal team, but not a single person dipped below 75% health
I'll post the full builds when I'm not at the office lol.
And BTW ANet-TYVM for the SoR buff

In my setup you can drop the major motivation rune now. 13 was used just for the +4 Mending Refrain.

Sorry about that, it was my slang reference in another thread to Racthoh's PvE Paragon Team, which consists of 3 Paragons (inc player) and a support character, hence the 'paraway' reference.
I mentioned the build alongside Sabway so Racthoh's Paraway was the best i could come up with at the time.
Perhaps Racthoh can come up with a name for us?!? RacPack maybe ?

I was going to submit what I use for a build on the PvXwiki but after about 10 minutes I stopped because I couldn't think of a name. So call it what you want.

Your build should definitely go on PvX, it's 'the shit'
Somehow i don't think that's appropriate.

Maybe similar to Sabway, we can think of a food related reference

Following the format of Sabway on PvX (Triple Necro Vanquish), maybe Vanquishing Paragons?!? As long as it's up there, someone will suggest a better name.

Well I know paraway is a 5 paragon 3 monk setup in GvG form, at least from the most recent versions I've seen being run. Not entirely familiar with the exact skills they had but it's not too difficult to guess.
In PvE though the most I would run is 3 paragons. Need at least one human for the SY, TNTF, and EBSHonor role. As far as I'm concerned those are the best three PvE skills a paragon can run. I would definately slot a motivation guy for Song of Purification and the Mending Refrain; keeping blinds off that somtimes get under Crack Armor is very useful for the SY guy. Speccing into motivation means you can battery if need be. Third paragon would be for Angelic Bond in areas with a lot of armor ignoring damage, or if you're vanquishing 4 man zones with triple paragons and the D/N guy. That or Stunning Strike in multiple monk situations if you're not a fan of Spear Swipe. If all else fails and you can't decide Defensive Anthem is always a fine choice.
In hex heavy zones I now slot both heroes with Empathic Removal and Hexbreaker Aria. Since vanquishing Joko's Domain I will never forgot how fragile the team becomes if that one removal is disabled; those Awakened were locked onto my Expel Hexes with their Signet of Humility.
Anymore than 3 paragons and you run out of useful chants and shouts. Eventually you're just either slotting motivation guys with Finale of Restoration for absurd heals or lots of attack skills that won't DPS as well as a warrior. You're better off getting something that can Splinter Weapon/Great Dwarf Weapon, remove enchantments, or KD stuff. If you're going to run any melees in HM with a paragon team you need to have some kind if snare. The important targets tend to flee if anything gets near them so your melee better have the Dragon Slash -> Brawling Headbutt -> Steelfang Slash combo or a hammer warrior of some sort. Earth Shaker is a beast with Dark Fury.
