Do both at the same time... protect your team with chants and do damage with your spear. You don't have to choose one or the other and doing so would be fail.

So obviously he means he prefers putting Dark Fury on a hero bar to putting Spear of Fury on his own? (I run both, but only because I don't have EotN => EBS/Honor.)

Most of the offensive hero paragon builds I use use barbed spear....unless I'm in a spirit/MM heavy area then it's Holy Spear. I find it to be a cheap way to inflict bleeding.

Just wish holy spear did holy damage all the time

If Barbed Spear has +damage I would use it. But as it is, things die too quickly for bleeding to matter.
