Good Paragon damage / support Build?
Hello everyone,
I've been playing guildwars for a little while, but took a break as for about four to five months after getting Eye of the North. (have the other exp packs and the original game).
When I came back, I thought that I might as well optimize my paragon/warrior char, while my playstyle is still rusty from lack of playing (good, as its removed the complacency factor).
Currently I use the following build:
OQCkUmm5piijJ2DnhDxX4Uc92CD
Leadership 8 (+1) Command 9 Spear Mastery 9 Motivation 10
Which is built up as:
Enduring Harmony
Aria of Restoration
Zealous Anthem
Energising Chorus
Anthem of Envy
Finale of Restoration
"Find their Weakness!"
"Go for the Eyes!"
I find this usually works in parties / soloing for general gameplay, but was wondering if I could make it more effective.
The general questions are: Are the burning attacks more effective in the long run? and is there a way of boosting damage further?
Currently I've not got any elite chants at all, and I haven't cleared all of Nightfall or done Eye of the North so I'm locked in terms of accessing elites from the later areas. I can get Crippling Anthem and the ones that are pre the cemetary mission (which are about 2-3) and I can access all the main skills as I have all the unlock packs.
So what would everyone suggest in terms of support/damage as well as keeping my energy topped up? or is it better to go all damage with some support at this stage?
Edit: This is obvious I know, but I can access warrior skills as well as Paragon skills, thought I would add it here to aid the lazy

There's a couple things that can fixed.
The first is your use of attributes-you're spreading yourself to thin. I would focus on Leadership, Spear Mastery and either Command or Motivation-but not both at once.
The second is you lack of spear attacks-the spear is a Para's best friend and can out DPS a sword warrior easily. Take advantage of this.
If you want to stick to damage, I would recommend either a Cruel Spear or Stunning Strike as your elite. Cruel Spear is only 7 adrenaline, does a great deal of damage and can inflict deep wound. Stunning Strike is 10 adrenaline, does about the same amount of damge and can cause daze-which helps shut down the casters.
Try something like this (rough guideline-I have a better build but since I'm at work I can't reach it):
Cruel Spear
Blazing Spear
Spear of Lightening (or Vicious Attack or Swift Javelin)
"For Great Justice!"
Anthem of Envy (or "Go For The Eyes!")
"There's Nothing to Fear!"
Aggresive Refrain
Your favorite Rez.
Spear:11+1+2
Leadership:11+1
Command: 8+1
Hopefully I added my skill points up right If not that should be close enough. Maintain AR outside of combat using TNtF and you should be good to go.
For support/damage hybrid, you can't go wrong with the so called "Imbagon". Essentially same attribute point as above, but with the following core skills:
Aggressive Refrain
Focused Anger
"Save Yourselves!"
"There's Nothing To Fear!"
"For Great Justice!"
The other three skills usually vary-just noodle around the Paragon forums and you'll find some.
Basically if you focus on support with a paragon, you're doing the profession a disfavor-you can do both damage and support. One final bit of advice-if you want your support to be damage neglect, go with Imbagon. If you want to provide extra healing/energy, go Motivation. If you want to provide extra damage go Command.

Ah right, that seems to make sense, I had a feeling that damage was a major part of the paragon just by looking at all the burning / wounding attacks.
Could I have a readout of your better build Richardt when you manage to get home and have more time?

Lacks Aggressive Refrain. And you should really pep up your Leadership to atleast 10.
Anthem of Flame is good for keeping up AR.
You also need attack skills. Spear of Lightning, Cruel Spear, Vicious Attack ect ect.
I would personally use GftE, Spear of Lightning, Vicious Attack, Aggressive Refrain, Anthem of Flame, There's Nothing To Fear, Defensive Anthem and something else. Signet of Return is a good candidate. Maybe something from the Command line. Stand Your Ground is quite nice in the PvE setting.
(Note -- Vicious Attack straight after a GftE. Deep Wound should land most of the time.)
Replace Anthem of Flame for Anthem of Weariness if you want.

Totally-I'm pretty sure it's close to the one I posted.
As for damage, I've hit warrior type monsters for upwards of 150 damage before so yeah a Para can dish it out.

Here's the build I was talking about-it's a variant of Racthoh's Stunning Strike build.
[skill]Cruel Spear[/skill][skill]Blazing Spear[/skill][skill]Vicious Attack[/skill][skill]Hexbreaker Aria[/skill][skill]"There's Nothing To Fear!"[/skill][skill]Anthem Of Envy[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Aggressive Refrain[/skill]
Spear: 11+1+2
Leadership: 11+1
Command: 8+1
Nothing overly fancy. You can replace Cruel Spear for Stunning Strike if you need it, Hexbreaker can prolly be changed with "Go For The Eyes!"-this is a nice one to use if you're running with minions as GtfE affects them.
Basically, use Aggressive Refrain and For Great Justice when you enter, then use There's Nothing To Fear to maintain Aggressive Refrain. I haven't ran this myself (I'm always the Imbagon), but guildies have and they said it's pretty sweet on the damage side.

Sorry about the delay in replying, have been doing spring cleaning over the last few days so have been delayed in responding.
Thanks for the build info. I have a little work to do however as I need to get to the places where I can pick up save yourselves in the factions campaign with my paragon.
