"Go For The Eyes" question
Will this affect minions and spirits as well? Which begs the underlying question: Can minions and spirits achieve critical hits?
Thanks.

It does affect minions. And yes they do have a chance to critical.
Edit: After reading the wiki critical hit article, it appears that you can get a critical hit with a wand, but the probability is REALLY low. I don't think spirits have physical attacks, but things such as anguish or pain might count as wand attacks, in which case they have a chance to get a critical hit. The Fury spirit too.
I have NO idea if spirits are affected by shouts, though.

That makes sense. I had Masters set up as a Sabaway MM bomber and was spamming GFTE (54%) in Grand Court. Things went pretty well even with a few party members dying (Masters not included). I think the shout and the minions leveled the playing field.
I've had a paragon char for a while but rarely play her. I JUST read the "basics" thread and was impressed with the info I had never considered. I bought a ton of skills and created a build based on the suggested stuff.
I think I'm addicted. I also used Focused anger to allow constant casting of GFTE.
Thanks.

GFTE affects minions, and possibly spirits.
However, spirit skills don't work like normal attacks. Thus, they can't achieve critical hits. So it doesn't really matter if they get the shout or not.

Even so, they are still generally higher than minions normal attacks.

Since noone has said I'll say it:
Minions count as Allies for purposes of shouts/chant. Thus if the shout/chant says it affects allies, then it'll affect minions/NPCs/Pets/minipets (yes minipets count!). However, minions don't have attack skills-thus chants like Anthem of Weariness, while it affects minions, would really do nothing.
And Shemsu-that's wrong. TNtF affects party members, and heals said party members. Thus it would not affect minions as they're allies, not party members. The healing you're seeing must be coming from another source.

I have no idea about spirits.
As for minions, they can achieve critical hits, but they are different from player crits.
A player crit gives you an automatic max roll for your weapon damage, plus -20 to your target's armor. A minion still gets the -20 to the target's armor, but they do not the automatic max roll for weapon damage.

Spirit's attack with "skills" target an attacking spirit you will so it activating a skill. I don't know if what kind of skills it are. but I don't think it are attack skill's.
And only attack skill's can get critical hits.

Most spirit skills do a set amount of damage, I think they can critical, but it does nothing. Its like critting with d-shot, it still does 15 damage.

Wrong. You can achieve critical hits by auto attacking aswell. Skills such as "Find Their Weakness" and auto attacking with an Assassin prove this.
