I need an excuse to use my Wintergreen stuff. So, since my only post toon is a paragon, I've been looking for somewhat of a caster build to use for fun. An elite such as Song of Restoration or Angelic Bond, some heavy motigon skills, but enough of the secondary's and PvE-only's without the adrenaline to justify using a caster weapon.

Maybe a bit like the old P/Rt build before the nerf....have any of you got some ideas on this? This could be a lot of fun and a nice break from SY.

I'll build on this idea more later when I've got more time.

There was an old Searing Flames paragon build on here. I doubt it would work all that well since the rework to Glowing Gaze but it sounds lulzy as hell, and maybe reading the thread would give you some ideas.

You can run an SoS spirit summon build with summon spirits and stuff. Otherwise theres always the ap caller for discordway. Besides that we don't really have the energy to play casters.. I should know, I used to try to get in a vsf by being a p/mo roj or p/me cryer lol.

This is the closest I've ever run to a caster bar on my paragon, and it was built for Duncan the Black.

Skills from left to right were:
We shall Return! | Spoil Victor | Blood Ritual | Awaken the Blood | Can't touch This! | Go for the Eyes! | Ebon battle standard of Honor | There's Nothing to Fear!

The image was taken from a screenshot, and the pc's been through a few reformats since then, but I believe I ran it with 12 leadership/8 command/10 blood magic. It was decent for support, wanding provided the adrenaline for Go for the Eyes! and with Can't Touch This (used as a defense against touch necro popups) provided enough mana to cast the skills at recharge.

The SoS is a little outdated, but pretty fun I hear, I'll try it out. Discordway caller...eh, I'll stick with my Jarigon(

I'll try to mesh that into the build Gennadios.

Even if evergy is a problem, it would at least work to maintain burning for ToF while using shouts. And if energy allows, more damage from SF. Actually with a SF hero, who could pack mark of Rognor (if the Jarin has it at least, late proph skill I think) to maintain the burning. SFer work in group anyway.
