I'm currently using a voltaic spear but I have really begun to not like it at all. Its just way too big and flashy/shiny

. I'm thinking about switching to something that looks more like an actual spear (like the banded spear), but i payed so much money for my VS and I don't want to have wasted it...

i am partial to the oppresor spear, dyes nicely and has nice animations .......imho

My favorites are the Tormented Spear and Draconic Spear, I still use Hidesplitter's Spear which dropped for me the first time I went through Rragar's Menagerie. It's pretty rare too as Rragar's is not easily farmable. I'd also like to give a shout out to the Mursaat Spear... it's held together by magic, how cool is that?

Dislike the Voltaic Spear and other far-too-large spears as others have already mentioned. I have one that has never been used.

For more common skins I'd suggest the Brass Spear and Crenellated Spear, they look nice and are similar to real-world spears... also the Banded Spear, it looks like a harpoon.

Oh yes, I've spent a good portion of the game with a nice pronged spear and moved onto Oppressor, which is very nice. (fu Cuil)

Also, a good looking spear is the Mallyx's Cruelty

I have a few VS's but still not a big fan, nor an oldschool meleestuff lover. So I honestly believe people who say they don't like it.

I would have to say my favourites are Ornate or Serrated since they look like they could actually kill and fit shields nicely. Love Brass for it's simplicity and wintergreen since it's cute, but doesn't really fit any shield so that kinda a shame.

It fits the wintergreen shield

I don't have enough money to afford a wintergreen spear, but I absolutely love my wintergreen sword + shield that I use as a caster defensive weapon set.

1st choice would be the Draconic...I love the look of it as a dragon. 2nd would probably be the Destroyer Spear. The Serrated Spear just looks dangerous, would hate to have a run in with that one.

I think spear skins are fairly poor in comparison to most weapons and would go with the more functional looking ones being best

and to the person saying that some people dont like the VS because of its price, well i got turned off when i kept seeing VS on sins EVERYWHERE i went , spear=PARAGON not a roll face sin

I'm a ranger and spear is my weapon of choice (best beast master weapon), axe 2nd and bow 3rd.
And yeah, greater guardian spear is a nice one ^^

Draconic and Serrated, hands down. Undead (from the BMP) is a good runner up. Asuran's not too bad for a caster.
If I wanted something that actually looks like a spear, you know a weapon you kill things with, I'd pick a Brass Spear. (Or Windblade, but that's ugly.)

VS is too gaudy to have ever looked even acceptable.

My favorite is the Serrated because of the smexiness of barbed spears, but Voltaic is a close second due to coloring and animation. Draconic third (I happen to like dragons, thank you very much).

It may be just my imagination, but the Undead spear seems like the only non-flat-headed spear which is why I picked it as 1st choice (along with it's smaller size).

VS is kinda ok.... too sparkly imho, and too mainstream, and it also looks like a pike, or a halberd more then a spear.

My avatar on forums is purely artistic show, if you ever meet my monk in game; you'd see she uses a Tormented Spear

EDIT: I might as well make a new picture... glorifying her's Tormented Spear and a mini MOX.
