I'm just curious what your opinions are of the best looking spears. I need some help deciding on what to get next.

The most common one, the Voltaic, doesn't look like a spear at all, makes no sense that it has the ability to fly

VS. Some people doesn't like cause they cannot afford it and some people doesn't like it cause they're in love with oldschool melee stuff. Hats off the best looking spear in game.

Because the old school prophecies/factions art puts anything from NF and eotn to shame. Theres a lack of decent spear skins because of rarity and artwork, VS was good but its old news and demoncrest is too plain looking. Im gonna go out on a limb here and say Imperial bc last time I looked at it I thought it was pretty good looking. Draconic gets second because I think its neat lookin.

VS isn't bad; I've given Mow the honour of using that spear, but I've grown to like Suntouched spear. It looks real, dynamic and, dyed black, is a pretty damned sexyspear.

And VS is just plain ugly, and has no aerodynamics whatsoever.... although, many of the Guild Wars' "spear skins" are just Halberds that characters throw (??!).... no logic...

Most spears look pretty damn ridiculous.
The best ones are some of the more sane looking ones; the Tormentor's and Brass Spears are probably at the top.

Seriously tho - these questions dont actually help , if you asked 100 ppl their views on armor/weapons etc you will get many diff answers and if they had to give reasons you`d get 100 diff reasons.
The most common reply is - regardless of what others say , in the end you will only choose what You like.
When in battle does anyone give a toss what weapon someone else has in the team ?
It wouldnt matter to me if someone had a naff skin weapon as long as the weapon did its job.
The only real and correct answer would be to look up the type of weapon on wiki and go through its skins.

I remember one guildie who loved the gladiator armor but to the rest of us it sort of looked a bit gay ( no offence intended ) and the sort of thing worn in bondage films , but regardless of our views ( and manbra comments ) he stayed with it because he liked it.Yes he liked it , even tho we hated it so as an example given - you will have to choose yourself.
Now im bk off to get therapy after recalling that incident .

Yes you are. The head of the spear is very flat and has a very glossy look.

Charr Spear is nice, but a bit bulky.

Demoncrest Spear or Spiraling Spear maybe.
