PvE: I prefer SS Curses with some blood.

PvP: I don't really PvP with my necro much. Probably some type of anti-monk necro as a N/Me.

-FoC and DE spike (play it now)
-Order (I know, it much effective for PvP than PvE)
-Battery
-Well Build
-Despair's build (friend of mine)
-Leech build (Blood and curse)

for PvE i like the MM

PvP, although i usually play an Orders nec, my fav is probably a curser (SS or w/e curses i feel like)

I'v only been playing for a couple of months, but in PvE I use a N/W with the following:

Attributes
Blood Magic: 12+2
Soul Reaping: 5+1
Swordsmanship: 9
Tactics: 4

Skills
Vampiric Gaze
Life Siphon
Vampiric Touch
Well of Blood
Grenth's Balance
Sever Artery
Gash
Resurrection Signet

I tend to cast Life Siphon 3 times before engaging a mob with sword and sheid (that's where tactics plays its part). Ince im in the mob I try to use vampiric touch as much as possible (soul reaping helps to keep this going). Gaze comes in handy if I have to fight from a distance (usual when mobs have shatter enchantment, etc). It works for me, I would say at least 60% of the time it generates quick kills, although sometimes it results in my own death, but then that prompts me to rethink strategy!

I don't PvP often

I would put Minion master, but I don't minion master much because I don't like to depend on corpses and death magic has only 2 attack skills.
