Default Ele/Necro PvP build

So, I've been playing now for a long while as a E/R and decided try something else besides the old air spiker build for pvp and fire nuker build for pve. So I tried a Monk secondary and thought about a mesmer secondary. I've been trying a necro secondary and found it interesting. Since I started playing this game, I've always liked the idea of a water elementalist, but that is not the way this game seems to work. So, here is a Water hex/curses build that I've been playing with in Random Arenas.

The point allocation is like this:
10 Curses
12 Water Magic (Minor Water)
12 Energy Storage (All Seeing Eye and Minor Energy Storage)
Can be boosted by superior runes of course

The skill list is like this:
Ice Spear
Elemental Attunement (E) (Glyph of Energy could work here too.)
Ice Spikes
Deep Freeze
Blurred Vision
Soul Barbs
Faintheartedness (Spinal Shivers could work here too.)
Resurrection Signet

This build was first thought up as a fight against the strong boon/prot monks. Soul Barbs deals an extra 25 damage (at 10 Curses) for every hex and enchantment cast on a foe. Between my hexes and the monks constant enchantment casting, they don't get as much healing as they would like. As far as protecting myself, Faintheartedness and blurred vision help me against warriors and rangers. Also, once the monk is dead, soul barbs goes on my next target. Also, I've tried to minimize the amount of long casting spells because they are always interrupted by mesmers or rangers. As an added bonus, I can now use my formerly pieces of crap Flint's Wand and Milius' Eye.

Yeah, put in Spinal Shivers.
I WANT SHADOW OF FEAR! It just screams usage after the update.
Ele Attune is enough. I'd want the Glyph of Renewal though. Or Prodigy. Prodigy is good.
I wouldn't put in Soul Barbs. I don't think your teammates have that many hexes, nor do RA people like using Enchants.
I would splash in some Air for Gale or Windborne. Gale is good too. Although it's just my style.
So my skill-list would be:

Energy Storage: 10 +1 (+1 +1)
Air Magic: 5 +1
Water Magic: 10 +1 +1 (+3)
Curses: 10
(Brackets mean runes, if you don't mind a superior)

Ether Prodigy {E}
Deep Freeze
Gale
Blurred Vision/Rust
Spinal Shivers
Windborne Speed
Shadow of Fear
Resurrection Signet

Of course, you're in for a treat. Water eles aren't easy to make, but they can be extremely rewarding. IMO.

Lightning the purpose of soul barbs is that it adds +27 dmg for each 1 of his water hexes that land and that can be deadly.

Also i used a build like this way back and heres how it looked.

E/N

12 Curses
10 +1+3 Water Magic
8+1 Energy Storage

1. Shard Storm
2. Ice Spikes
3. Deep Freeze
4. {e} Feast of Corruption
5. Water Attunement
6. Armor of Mist
7. Frozen Burst/Suffering/Parasitic Bond/Spinal Shivers
8. Rez Sig

Pretty much you cast Soul Barbs and then just water hex the guy to death. Use FoC combined with Ice Spike for massive aoe dmg. Use armor of Mist to escape from any warriors who try and kill you.

I know what Soul Barbs does, thank you. I also know how a Water hexer with Soul Barbs works. 2 of them can be a riot.

I still don't think it justifies the skill slot, with its horrible 20- recharge, if you're in Random Arenas, though.

But FoC sounds better.
