Hi all,

I am sort of new to Guild Wars and looking for some advice on a Ranger/Necro build.

For either PVP/PVE doesnt matter. Also gear suggestions, Is making the bow your primary weapon a good choice?

heres how it goes see?

Touch Ranger

Attributes

Blood magic 12 (base 12)
Expertise 16 (base 12 + 1 + 3)

Skills

for a touch ranger its pretty basic. get up close and personal.

Vampiric touch
touch of agony
Vampiric gaze (for running opponents.. i hate when they run.)
Awaken the blood (you might think im crazy but it works well)
Escape {E}
whirling defence
throw dirt
Ressurection signet, or, if you prefer, another skill. (flexible)

the strategy

1.) throw on escape and AtB at the start of battle. apply when needed.

2.) charge in like a babbling idiot, youlle probably live, acually. but there is a weakness. STAY AWAY FROM DEGEN! it hurts...

3.) you should deal about 50 damage with touch of agony and 71 with vampiric touch. and vampiric takes 5 energy and agony takes 2.

4.) ALWAYS, i repeat, ALWAYS have a defence on. throw dirt on warriorsm that attack you is a defence. escape gives 75% chance to evade and so does whirling defence. never turn them on at the same time.

5.) have fun and laugh when you win.

weapon and other info

best weapon to bring as a insightful (max) blood staff of fortitude (max) its funny because they laugh at you and say, "ranger with a staff!? *babble babble blah blah*" when i kill them then they say: "HAX" when its all the skillz.

NOTE: that means NO BOW.
