Curse

I've recently tried taking me 55 necro into Tombs. But I unfortunately get slaughtered by the phantasms with one of their spells. I can't seem to figure out how to avoid it or stop it from raping me.

Here's my build, and the attack that they use.

5 Blood magic
4 soul Reaping
10 Healing
8 Protection
16 Curses

It seems like you just CAN'T avoid it. So monk solo in Tombs can't be done.

But you're using monk skills to keep yourself alive. No chance in soloing Tombs, to much enchant removal.

If you're a 55 Necro, you're an N/Mo. Fingers of Chaos effects apply to both primary and secondary professions, so your monk enchantments go, and a hex is removed when they hit you.

What if I switched my second profession to mesmer? And got rid of the whole 55 deal to use arcane echo with SS.

The best I've ever done in Tombs is 5 man. Monk, warrior, B/P ranger, necro ritualist. And we quite after about 2 hours (we had just got to area 3). The worst is the area with the dryders on the upper levels. You CANNOT solo or 2 man or even 3 man tombs, there is just to much ench stripping, hex removals, interupts and damage to even try. Even if a solo get's past the fingers skills (which is very tough) you have the rend ench chained souls that screw you over. Best bet is a ritual lord for a 5 man.
