Ultimate Necro Build for Factions+NF???
I have done tons of searching both here and at about 30 other sites to find a build limited to Factions and Nightfall as they are all I own right now. I am tired of dying, and not being able to sustain my minions for over 2 minutes. I had heard rumors that there was a build that prevented a MM from dying, but I have yet to find it either. If anyone could post some links to some really good builds (to include what weapons, armor, and runes/wraps are used), I would appreciate it. I am not looking for a flame fest or any "Do a search n00b" crap. I've done the searches, maybe I'm just searching for the wrong things.

Yup, checked there... although they have some that have been tested by the community, they're not exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks though!

i think that may be the problem. firstly, there is no end all, be all build for a MM. and there is definitely no build that will prevent you from dying ever. so give up looking for that.
as for keeping your minions alive longer than 2 minutes, you probably dont want to do that anyway. see the wiki:

so a minion that has been alive for 2 minutes has a natural degen of 7 pips or 14 health per sec. the best strategy is to keep minions alive as much as possible for the duration of the battle, but exploit any new corpses to refresh your minion army.

Having not played NF really (still on noob island), here is a possibly good MM build for NF + Factions only:
Signet of Lost Souls
Animate Bone Fiend
Animate Vampiric Horror
Blood Of The Master
Repear's Mark (e)/Jagged Bones (e)
Death Nova
Heal Area
Rebirth
Hope this helps.

I personally like originial MM over MM Bomber, so I would go:
Fiends
Order of Undeath {E} <- it is the imbaest thing ever
Blood of the Master
Signet of Lost Souls
Taste of Pain
Taste of Death
Heal Area
GASP Mending
12 + 1 + 3 Death Magic
12 + 3 Soul Reaping
The goal is to keep spaming OOU while healing minions AND staying alive at the same time. It seems impossible but it is not really. Most people would be like "OMG LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SAID MENDING SUX SO IT MUST BE OMG OMG U SUX" The fact that you have unlimited energy due to high SR means mending is awesome. Mending will regen +3hp at all times, and we all know your char gets NO NATURAL REGEN after you sacrifice.
Spamming Signet and Taste of Pain in between 5 seconds can be a tough job, plus you have to keep your minions alive, summon more, and keep OOU up. It's a very active build, but heck, everything drops like flies.

Mana.. you realize that Watchful Spirit is better with no points in it? 2 regen, and a heal if it's stripped.

Watchful Healing is from Divine, so... I can't stick any points into it, and it is only +1 hp.
Since I am throwing in decent points into Healing Prayers for Heal Area anyway and I have enough energy to lasts, why not Mending?
Even if Watchful Healing is +3 I wouldn't use it. You have to use Botm, OOU, and enough minion using and Signet + Taste of Pain every 5 seconds. It seems like a lot of time, but it isn't.

Unless it has changed, Watchful Spirit is +2 pips of health regen regardless of how many points you have in Divine Favor. So 0 points = +2 pips of health regen. The only thing that affects WS with points into DF is the heal you get when WS is removed.
When mending or healing breeze is removed, it can cause damage (if shattered), but gives you nothing when they go away. Watchful Spirit will give you health back when it is removed.
With 3 points into healing prayers, is it even worth it? I'd rather use it for blood magic with a minor rune. Take blood renewal for my self heal, but maybe that's just me.

If you want an "indestructable" MM, run the following:
Capture Aura of the Lich in prophecies (im going to assume you have all expansions). Cover it with Dark Bond. Use Vampiric Horrors along with Fiends or Regular Horrors. Bring BotM (duh). Bring Taste of Death.
There you have it. AotL and Vampiric Minions negate any BotM casting you may be doing. If the monks are occupied, use taste of death when your health is low for well over a full heal. Always spam new minions when corpses are available. If your in battle, your doing one of three things: Kiting, Raising a minion, or Casting Botm.
This is a very basic build that should work quite well in most areas. If you can't maintain 10 minions with this, you're never going to be able too. There's plenty of healing for both your minions and yourself, much more than needed.
Sorry for the grammatical errors and general sloppiness, I'm in a bit of a rush! :P
Good Luck!

I have 8 into Healing Prayers for +3 Mending. If I already got this much in Healing Prayers for Heal Area, I might as well use Mending.
If I am going to get shattered, I won't bring Mending. I got enough stuff to self-heal, Mending was just for backup after Sac. Plus, Monks are there for a reason.

Shambling/Jagged/Death Nova/Taste of Death, and reapply, combined with Dark Bond and/or other self-defense skill like Distortion or Conviction. It doesn't make you immortal but it makes you very veeeeery hard to kill. It feeds you health and energy constantly while dishing out massive AoE damage.

Oh.
Well.
Ignore me then. I'm useless. Haha. I missed that part! XD
I'll go with Hella Good's answer slightly moded:
Taste of Death, Putrid Flesh, Jagged Bones, Death Nova, Animate Bone Minions, Dark Bond, Conviction, Res Sig
Use a shield and your near immortal. It's quite fun.
Now I'm going to go sit in the corner for failing to read the entirety of the first post. :P

Vampiric Horrors don't get a lot of love around here, but they sure do positive things to your health bar.

If you want an "invincible" MM build for pvp, that's a way different build and can be very hard

Good point. Jagged + Taste of Death = big heal + slight boost to the sustainability of your damage dealing + small boost to your energy pool. Pretty awesome when you look at it that way.
I look forward to capping Jagged ...
