Wow I know I'm resurrecting a dead thread, but I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble downloading these videos Kcp linked. I read that FileFront was undergoing some work, so maybe thats it. Good information though, thanks.

Ok thanks. I tried out the FoW run, worked really well. I had a problem close to the tower though. There was a group with two monks, a mesmer and a warrior. The warrior and mesmer didnt seem to be doing enough for SS and Parasite to kill them...looked like the two monks were outhealing any damage I could put out. Do you bring a warrior with you for them?

Hate to beat a dead horse...but I was wondering if someone could give me some pointers on beating the hex breakers in FoW. I can't for my life get past the mesmers and it's aggitating me to no point. I've gotten descent at UW and can get through a good portion of it, but i want to tackle FoW. Any suggestions on this? Thanks in advance...

Shatter enchant has a 25 second recharge. IT"S GUARANTEED that the mesmer will use it the second it recharges. Why do I say this? Because of the little yellow arrow on your life bar.

That should be all I have to say for anyone to figure out how to beat those wimpy little mesmers in the fow. They are a joke. If Ss lasted a few seconds longer they would die in 1 SS.

You have PS to keep you from taking massive damage, breeze to keep you healed, and vigorous spirit on top of all these to take the shatter and protect the 2 vital enchants ( PS, HB.)

Make sure you cast them in this order PS,HB,VS before shatter enchant recharges after the initial shatter. The mesmer will always shatter on aggro within the first 1-3 skill uses.

It's not complicated at all. Wait until you hit the 2 monk 1 mesmer group by tower. You will have to survive ALOT of shatters to kill the 3 of them. This group and the other patrol of 6 that most groups avoid are the only thing that slows down the run. If those 2 groups werent there I could clear the whole first area in around 20 minutes easy including first quest. There is something like 80-90 enemies to kill in the first area alone. That's alot of shards per run ( *if they are dropping good that run.) I regularly leave the first area and move on to other areas in fow ( beach,spiders, skeleons, forest, or more shadows after cave)with at least 6 shards just from killing the shadow army in first area.

Once you get the hang of it you will have no troubles. It's just about being prepared for the mesmers and learning the little tricks to killing things that most ppl think cant be killed with a caster or a 55 hp build ( dryders, worms.) I've tried to make ppl think for themselves on the fow soloing and figure out how to beat the mesmers. The other little tricks i've clearly given away in the videos. W/e I get off my factions kick i'll make a solo wailing lord forest video with the necro since the majority thinks the little old necro has no chance of doing it.

hmmmmm.. i think that that build works but there is 1 problem.... for me.... i dunno how to make 55 hp, i have all that same armour and totem and -50hp cesta and i have 150 hp, how i can make that 55???? plz KCP or some1 else tell me
