Curse

Im relatively new to GW (have had it aprox. 3 weeks) andi chose necro for my class. I am currently lvl 13. My brother does a lot of pvp and the more I watch him the more interested i become. However, it does not appear that many teams use necro. So my question is, are necros useable in pvp? If so, what is their main purpose in a group? I ask because to me it seems like if i make a pvp only character, it should be of the class i have been using in pve(this may not be the case but i only know the basics of pvp from what i have observed).

I guess your brother doesn't watch HA then. Necros are everywhere in forms of N/Rt healers and hexes.

Hexes, especially those from the curses line see a lot of play in PvP.

in pvp, a normal necro will be a hex spammer. This means you tab around and mash buttons.
