Default Which profession for HM? (Necro or Paragon)

I'm planning on making a new character for the sole purpose of doing HM (vanquishing, guardian, legendary master of the north)

Currently, I can't decide between a Necromancer and Paragon. Paras have the most insanely overpowered build with SY! and TNtF! but their play style is incredibly one-dimensional, whilst Necros have much more versatility and Soul Reaping owns PvE, but they don't have anything as drastically overpowered as Paras do.

What do you guys think?

If you're a paragon, you'll have TNTF and SY. If you're a necro, you won't. Do you want two skills overpowered skills that will make it very difficult for your party to die, or do you want a necromancer that you'll most likely only play SS/MM with?

Paragon for easy HMing. You can C+Space the whole game and ignore double aggro.

Necromancer if you feel the need to "think" while playing.

I got leg. vanq with paragon, and almost leg. vanq with necro .. paragon was alot easier and alot less frustration (= more fun for me). Trust me slapping SS and some other hexes on mobs requires as much thinking as spamming SY, TntF, etc after a while. Same with MM, like that requires any thinking .

I don't bring a rez myself on the para so I have one slot open where I put some PvE skill from EotN to mess around with to keep it somewhat interesting.

Stole the words right out of my mouth. If you don't have a human paragon in your group, you're gimping your HM experience.

Playing the build does not require any more thinking...

Successfully finishing a vanquish requires more thinking without a Paragon.

With a Paragon, you can do it in an almost comatose state, and ignore any double, triple, or quadruple aggro.

With a Necromancer, you have to actually think about pulling an such.

Ok, well, maybe I should reword my question this way: does playing a Paragon get really boring after a while?

if you want flexibility I'd say necro, if you want overpoweredness than paragorn.

Yes, but so did the necro for me after a couple hundred hours of play. Paragon gets boring faster though if you play the standard SY+FA build, but nobody is forcing you to play that build. Its not like all warriors in PvE run around with Dragonslash/SY builds which does basicly the same if you add a dark fury hero. You can make PvE just as 'exciting' with a paragon as with a necro but you can also go easy mode when you want to vanquish and watch tv at the same time .
