There's nothing wrong about suggesting a buff to LT. The casting time is already 1, but the recharge should be halved.

I agree, make it at least half decent. And it is not the fault of blood necros if people do not know how to use hex-removal or regen...

There's nothing more irritating than killing the mesmer that was conjure nightmaring you with only a few health to spare, only to be killed by the degen because you only brought a spike heal. I'm sure the same applies for Life Transfer, but I've never even been hexed with it.

Anyho... Blood Magic needs a total rework to be any good.
In its current state - based around prot-ignoring life-stealing damage, with some support stuff - if you buff Blood up to be anywhere near the league of a Mind Blast ele or Splinter/Rage Rit in terms of damage, you will end up with lame, degenerate bloodspikes all over the place. And degenerate spikes are bad and should stay dead.

And the way that seems most feasible is to make blood a support line rather than a damage-dealing line. More Order of Pain, more Blood Ritual, and more Blood Bond type stuff; and less Shadow Strike. Then you can buff LT as much as you want if the rest of the line can't kill jack.

The rest of the line already can't kill jack unless you got 7 other necro buddies all hitting the same target. A single blood necro can't really do anything except BiP or BR people. Rangers make better damage blood necros than necros. Sad but true.

Rangers BR more efficiently than necros too, due to BR being a touch spell.
