One of my first Necromancers was named Whelkin of the Dusk, after some death metal song,"Anthems to the Whelkin at Dusk." I deleted it shortly after leaving pre. Post searing was a pretty scary place after all those months in pre. So, any name with Whelkin in it should be good, I'm pretty sure it means demon, or satan, or some equivalent.

Well I use Yob as a handle in all my toon names and anopheles is a mosquito. Now if only blood skills were useful.

I made 2 depending on what I planned on doing with them at creation;

Deathly Spirited -> Started off as a Canthan N/Rt Spiritpooper

Occams Raiser -> Tyrian MM which quickly changed to Curses/death (not too far into Prophs though)

my main one, Razor of Death. My favorite charter to play. mainly a MM, hence RAZOR wanted a little more edge on it than Raiser, so razor.

of death, well duhh.

other one Cursed Hoe. hehe yeah dont play her much, just a mule for stuff.

also, pick a faforite char from a book or movie. on rangers though to many versions of Legolas hehe.

just have fun, dont worry all the good names are taken hehe.

Queen Undertaker my first char, ranger necro. gave up the necro side for her, 12 points in death makes to weak a minnion, maybe with golem and pet ?

My Necro is named Priestess of Amant, Amant was a god in egyptian mythology who was the greeter of the dead. Priestess of Anubis was taken its a more "popular" god of the dead.

I think ancient gods usually have pretty good names to combine.

My first necromancers name was Osi Ri S. Mainly for its meaning which Karrde posted above. After i deleted him and made another necro i named him Enigm A. It just sounds cool and i think it fits necros very nicely.

My Necro I made is named Amongst my Friends, friends meaning minions, hence I think he'll be a MM when he reaches 20.

I love naming characters. I have a whole list of names for all classes that I keep, silly I know, but they just pop into my head.

Necros are fun to name. I usually get out my Latin/English dictionary. (All my characters are female since I'm female and it's... well... I'm more comfortable playing female characters.)

Anyway...

I have a Prophecies Necro named Vamira Mortis Dator, whereas Mortis Dator basically means death giver in Latin. Vamira is a take on Vampire but didn't want to go Vampira being that she's a well known comic book character.

Currently, my Necro in NF is... Neckkra Felia... sick but I think it's pretty funny.

You can mix it up by using a combo of Latin and mythology names, too. Look on line for demon names as well. It's easy to come up with something nasty sounding that isn't in use.

Naming a character is the hardest thing to do in the character creation. I myself made a necro couple of weeks ago, came up with the awesome name; Cold And Creepy

There are also a dozen or more variations of the name Judas, so if ones taken, you can probably find one that works.
