Hello, I want to start being a Necromancer but i just cant think of a good name i spent like an hour trying to think of one and got a headache

So can you guys give me some good names?

you could always use an online thesaurus and type in names that sound necro-y. Then mix and match. Personally, I like Bells Toll for Thee. its fairly poetic, yet true to the class. I had a necro with this name until I started naming everything after Buddha, and remade them.

Just please.. PLEASE do not name your character after an already existing cartoon character.. way too many of them in Guild Wars if you ask me. ><

I called my necro R E Z E R.. many months ago.. They made minions.. which.. is kinda.. to do with rezing.. so.. umm... yeh. Screwed up name imo.

Somone I know used to get the names of angels, devils and stuff like that and put them into one name. You can get a list of names for devils/ angels on wikipedia.

My PvE necro is Alyssia Obrian for kinda personal reasons, but My PvP is currently I Emo Noob. I think it fits.

Good luck in your naming efforts. I often look up word in differnet lang and stuff to get my names it helps alot

Emos -_-. Necros look more like goths than they do emos.. Pale white skin and all that.. then again.. they do cut themselves... sacrifices and all that ;s. But then the /guitar or /dance looks more goth than emo... Emos just suck... necros rock.. so dont compare ;p.

I like to use on line translators, English to Latin gives awesome names I got my Monk's name, Mortis Vigoratus = Death Healer and my Assassins name Mortis Velox = Swift Death with a translator. I was less imaginative with my Curse Necro's name Mortis the Spiteful, however I get a lot of good comments about my MM Necro's name, ABBATIOR, translated, it means slaughter house.

and "The Butcher" (the demon boss from the orignal "Diablo" pc game).

I used Xera the Power Lich,and its pronounced (Xer-ra) btw, but anyway I just picked a name that had to do with soemthing dead and lich is commonly used in rpgs anyway...

If you want it to be used for a fair amount of SSing, try using the naming convention the Ritualist ash skills use - "Spiteful Was NAME".

Well my necros follow the Stargate Atlantis wraith naming protocol (Angel the Wraith, Desmond the wraith, Darrel the wraith, Steve the wraith, etc.)

However i do use latin naming for some of my characters and a lot of stuff makes good names.

A friend of mine named his necro Cruciatus Alio which I believe is latin for "torture person"

idk about the last name but Cruciatus makes a great necro name imo
