I like Ranger the same as Necro, but I'm doing a new 'main-char', and that's why I'm askng what profession should I choose. I mean, what prof. is better at doing HM, gettin Survior tittle and rest of tittle btw.

Ranger is more versatile in pve, but necro's make better farmers. Although rangers can farm raptors pretty easiliy.

Necromancers have stupid energy management when it comes to PvE.
Rangers have strong energy management, D-Shot and Broad Head Arrow.
And Jiggles - last time I heard "Running" was a tactic called "Avoiding an enemy". Rangers can make use of the majority of situations.
As for farming, Necros get the medal.

running also makes you a faggit and a coward, the least you could do is equip a shield and sword and hit him back
(can you feel the sarcasm yet? before you start thinking im being serious)

Id say go a ranger, you've said you want to get survivor and that will be a lot easier with the better armour and blocking stances of the ranger. Plus they can use [[Broad Head Arrow] in HM, which is incredibly useful.
On the other hand, if you'd like to farm, go Necro. More difficult to get survivor with and you have to leave the interupts to heroes. But they have far more scope for farming.

I'd rather interrupt people than stack hexes any day.
Also, if you're a ranger in PvE, you'll notice that the monsters tend to ignore you very often.

Ranger is easier for survivor due to higher armor and defensive stances.
Necro is easier for farming due to 55ing.
however Ranger can also farm, a bit harder but definatly able.

And if you're a necro you'll notice stuff die so fast that the main thing you do is "target nearest drop" - space
Necros are very, very versatile, allows you for great team builds, some farming spots...
And yeah stupid E-management.
As for HM, both are very effective, they both have pros and cons. but the necro will benefir more to them team than the ranger to me.

Rangers have arguably the best armor in the game and have the furthest attack range (if using longbow/flatbow). It has many useful stances against melee and 100 armor (before insignia) against elemental attacks. Rangers have more survivability than necros and they are often the last party member to die in a party wipe. Rangers make good interrupters too and is probably the only class that can easily inflict a long lasting Dazed condition which is uber against spell casters.
Necros have good skills and good energy management, they make good farmers.

as a ranger you'll fine yourself doing a variant of barrage or volley builds 99% of the time where as necros have a wider array of builds that work really well in high end situation

Only in PvE.
Besides I herd spamming 15 energy hexes without regret was good? Necro in PvE is good infinite energy. But mass daze is good to. xD

imo rangers are very limitid, trapping is boring, and conditions, to me, areoften slow and inaffective without the damage to back it up! Necro on the other hand are a bit of ele and mesmer put together strong curses good dammage out put and you are wanted on teams with low energy managment, aoe, and tankswith your little minions :*srry for misspelling*
