Necromancer PROBLEM
Hello, and thnx for lookin @ my thread!
Anywhom something has been bothering me about my necro, she is fun and all but tends to get boring when i play the same build over and over, SS, MM!
(suggestions would be appriciated)
She has elite cabal(white), elite kurz(purple), vabbian(blue+green), and asuran (black), I am not adding this to brag and such but i an wondrin if you would delete your necro based on this and that she has beat all three games.
I am wanting an ele or a mesmer. I share my account with my brother so char slots are slim. TYVM for your help i appricate the posts.
Oh almost forgot another thing is that pple annoy me all the time that i am a dude playing a female char should this bend my decision, when i come to one??
I will later post pics of her armor on da necro screenshot thingie*second post*

I personally have deleted my characters and ended up making another of the same class as the one I deleted. Reasons included I got bored with the profession like you are feeling, or I didn't like the look of the character.
While I delete and remake on a whim, it's personally up to you. Since you invested quite a bit of plat in armor, deleting your character might cause you regret later on. Even if you have max storage and can farm hundreds of plat per day or over a period of time, the loss of say 500k in armor value for example, might be a bad thing. However, if money means nothing or little to you, by all means, delete and make a new character.
Another solution if you want to try another profession, is to ask your brother for a free slot or just buy a character slot for the account and make a new character.
However, SS and MM aren't all there is to a Necromancer. Try some PvP or go Blood Necro (BiP Blood is Power) and have some fun with that.
You might have beaten the campaigns...but have you done FoW or UW yet? Plenty of chances for a SS (and to a lesser degree, MM) to shine in groups. Duo UW with 55/ss. 8-man balanced as SS/br or BiP necro. Go BiP Ursan. MM Ursan. Some creative ideas for you to try and see if the Necro love comes back to you.

If you delete your character you'll regret it later, trust me. I'm a guy and play female characters as well, the girls look better, you shouldn't let the reactions of others effect your game play decisions. Ignore them. ;p
If you really want a new character, buy a couple extra character slots, it's well worth it, even if you don't end up playing the characters you make you can use them as storage.

i would never delete a char with at least 1 set of 15k armor
if you're short of slots, you can buy them in online store for only 10$

^ those are fun if you haven't done them a 100x plus pugging is always _interesting_ (not always beneficial...).
You could try doing some PVP if PVE gets boring.

my nec is my main and it's most fun to play ! try and find some buddies to pug with, then do vanquishes and missions and random hunts and elite missions. or join a guild that does all of the above. necs are always sought after!

If you get bored with a character, play something COMPLETELY different. Monk or Derv perhaps?

If you're a guy, play a guy. Seriously. You'll get less wammos in Ascalon City asking you to be their girlfriend.

Actually thats a lie.
Anyway no I wouldn't female characters look better and the armor looks better.
If you get bored with that character just find a new build or just make a new character and play that one for a while.

When you see some of them carrying around a sword/axe that's obviously too big for anyone other than a Conan type physique - that's true. Female Warriors look a lot better in some of the lighter looking armor and wielding the smaller weapons. How do female Fencers fare against the males in that sport? -as light as the epees and foils (?) look - the male upper body strength advantage should be eliminated.
I imagine a Jitte or a Katana would a convincing weapon for a female sword wielder - forget Axes and Hammers.

Speaking as a former fencer for fifteen years, they get trashed. Not trying to be misogynistic here, just telling the truth.
Oh, and one reason I don't find the female warriors in gw too convincing is their armor sets... they don't look very, *ahem*, protecting.

Ummm.....Impossible
You cant have 2 elites in 1 bar at a time.
For the OP, You can try to explore High-end stuff.

Arcane mimicry on Ursan Blessing makes for a good reason to convince you otherwise since when the mimic wears off it doesn't take you out of Ursan.

Why is that? Shorter arms? Just curious.

1. I wouldn't delete a character unless you must make room for the new character. You may get a sudden urge to play your necro and find an ele instead.
2. Here's an analogy:
You should play a guy since you're a guy because your character must reflect who you are in real life.
Therefore since your MM shouldn't raise things from the grave because you can't raise things from the grave.
There is absolutely no connection between you and your character.

well i guess that depends which armor u buy. i kno elite kurz and elite sunspear look protecting. glads wasnt mean to look protecting at all, seeing as how the gladators were meant to get hurt during their fights to excit the crowds.

Yeah, the reach is the killer. It's got a lot to do about dedication, too, I think. I've always noticed a difference between the actual time men and women spend in the training room. Also, and please don't quote me on this because I have no idea if this is "kosher" or not, but women's reflexes are a bit slower. At least, that's what I've noticed while training. However that could just be due to poor practice, I honestly don't know.
