Because 10 mobs getting blasted with Death Nova + 10 meatshields + 10 damage dealers > one medium meatshield and damage dealer? If you want higher DPS, get Spoil Victor or Spiteful Spirit. And please, minions even with +100 health regen will die when a HM warrior hits them with an attack skill. Not to mention first Fireball from an Elementalist. Or ANY boss, even a monk can wand your minion to death.
Idea is kinda good, but OoU is craptastic right now.

If you're referring to my build page, that's an AB/CM build. If you're talking about general PvE, you're right, it's total crap.

It could be better with some armor buff :/
a lvl 16 fiend will get so many crits in the face it isn't worth it

Well... that's sorta a point of the elite for low-level PvP. How many people really stand and hack on a level 16 bone fiend with a permanent max regeneration?

Maybe if the benefits were longer, how about, 50 or 70 seconds? And if all but 3 minions died, then it'd be useful.
Also, an armor buff.
We're talking about level 18 bone fiends here, and that is at 16 death magic!

that talk page made me seriously lol. i liked the concept of the build as usual but ya gotta look at who the people posting comments are, they did the same thing with the mop nuker build and didnt seem to understand what they were saying, how the build functions nor the difference between pve and pvp
admirable attempt all the same /salute

I ran that build in Fort Aspenwood. Pretty fun.
It's nice to be able to focus on healing and now you're also doing a fair bit of damage. Shame the Siege Turtles took a grudge on the poor minion.

With so many poor votes we'd have to counter spike with 5 marks votes, but it doesn't deserve that.
The concept is nice but what the elite offers is just too small

I agree, it doesn't deserve that kind of voting (as in, 5-votes). Not good enough for that. Pity.

PvE can still use it, but it is rarely worth it. Now it would require 2 Necros specced heavily in Death Magic.
One with skills like Order of Undeath and Shambling Horror and Bone Minions along with Corpse exploitation skills like Putrid Explosion and Well of Profane. Add in a targeted spell like Withering Aura and a nice Weapon spell.
Second Necro takes Death Nova and Jagged Bones to supply a nice explosion and renewed minions. Putrid Flesh and more targeted spells like Weapon spells. Takes a lot of team work and 2 people working together to a small bonus, but could be fun.
In general I think OoU got screwed. Has a very small amount of niche builds now, and had a great PvE use before. Really wish they would have left it alone.

what about if all your minions die (but the one) AND they each leave an exploitable corpse? eh? bring two MM's and let them trade off using OoU?
the skill is still a bit unfortunate, especially since i only capped it a few weeks ago and never got around to using it's original spec.

Moloch's build got gangraped. It's not even remotely as bad as people are trying to say it is. I personally love spam healing while doing damage, even if the damage is respectable at best, but I guess I'm in the minority.
Besides, people at PvX just generally suck. Decent builds, asshole people.
