Early game Prophecies only N/E
So my buddy and I are running through Prophecies together from the very beginning. I chose a Mo/E since I never had a Mo before and the other char is a N/E.
The thing is that I'm not sure what exactly a good set of skills for that necro build is at the beginning of the game, so I was hoping someone would suggest something effective at least until we reach higher tiers. thx! |

Kind of hard to give a decent build without knowing exactly how far along you guys are. Some questions that will help:
Are you out of pre searing yet? What mission are you currently at? Have you made it to Lions Arch yet? What skill do you have now? both N and E skills Are these your first characters or do you already have skills unlocked on other characters? A good thing to try and get are minion skills and minion support skills. Typically a hero is better at a MM build but a human can do it. A basic MM bomber for prophicies is: [build prof=N/E][animate bone minions][animate bone horror][death nova][barbs][/build] As soon as you get into the later areas you can start picking up the some of the better Necro skills [spiteful spirit] If you need them to deal damage now then they could run a fire ele build, should not be a big problem for a necro with decent soul reaping. This may actually work better in areas with lower level foes than most necro builds, however you should always try and have minions with you if you can. Great meat shields. You may not get the full benefit from the Necro until you get some skills from the other campaigns, but this holds true with any profession, even your monk. The Necro will really shine when you get to doing hard mode stuff. Give us this info and perhaps we can provide you a decent skill bar. |

[[Glyph of Lesser Energy] and [[Spiteful Spirit] comes to mind. You could also use [[Aura of the Lich] to be a MM.

My advice, get 7 tomes, 1 elite tome. What i use is death and soul reaping, putrid bile, glyph of lesser energy, icy veins, rising bile, signet of lost souls, putrid explosion, death nova, rez sig. I use that build except i use signet of corruption and necrosis for the last two skills instead of nova and rez. Great build, awesome damage.
