So I bought my wife a copy of GW Prophecies and EotN, and she is actually willing to spend time gaming together (which is great). Unfortunately most of the necromancer builds I can find incorporate skills such as flesh golem, which we have no chance ever of getting, as she doesn't have access to either Nightfall or Factions.

Are there any suggestions on prophecies builds she could work towards? She pretty open about which type of necro she is (no real preferences as to minion master, hex build, etc.).

I know this is a pain, and really appreciate the help. I'm fairly new to this myself, and all I've ever really played is an elementalist.

You could go Orders and boost your melee guys.

Something with:
[Order of the Vampire][Order of Pain][Dark Fury][Great Dwarf Weapon][Masochism] Just make sure not to overlap Order of the Vampire with Order of Pain or Dark Fury. For less damage and more support, put in [well of power] instead.

[spiteful spirit] is maybe the best necro elite that exists.
she should go curses and use 3 EoTN skills on her bar, depends on the situation. NP at all.

Don't forget [[Aura of the Lich], the only decent Death Magic elite in Proph. Just take that, [[Animate Bone Fiend], [[ebon battle standard of honor], [[Animate Bone Horror] (maybe), [[Blood of the Master], and whatever else she thinks looks good. With Fiends, the EBSoH will make a pseudo-[[Order of Undeath] if you place it right, and buff your teams damage too w/o health loss. Get bloodstained insignia if she thinks that this looks interesting, and a sup. death rune + as much health as possible.
