hey guys:

so I've played GW for quite some time now, I started a dervish as main and basically did everything (e.g. all elites capped)

so now I'm trying something new, a necro. the transfer wasn't smooth because I'm so used to hack and slash type of game play, but ya I'm starting to get used to the class and starting to enjoy it more than my dervish.

so now I'm currently doing a curse necro, but I would really like to learn how to be a MM or MB

but here's my problem, I suck at managing my minions, like they always die before I can click on them and cast death nova, because during a big fight people are basically scattered everywhere, and is there a way you can cycle through you minions? its just so annoying to click on them in the heat of a fight.

and also I would like to ask for some expert tips on how to play the necro, I already read the guide and know the basics, now I'm hoping I can get some expert tips

No, there's no way to do this. No human can manage death nova well. That's why heroes make better minion bombers. You'd be much better suited to being a minion master who focuses on keeping minions alive and buffing their attacks with skills like Order of Undeath and EBSofHonor (and Barbs and Mark of Pain from a curse necro on your team).

Get all the necro heroes and go with a 4 man discordway. Let a hero be your MB. That way you can do more fun stuff like kill things instead of wasting time on managing minions. Win Win

Yes, you are much better off playing a supportive MM or maybe [flesh golem] if you have Factions

another quick question (probably belongs to the Q & a section):

For the Elites I cap on my dervish are they usable on my necro's heros? or I have to recap them?

Yes, as long as you capture or buy any skills then they're usuable on all your heroes across all characters

I suggest having a hero bring some support spells that synergize well. You can run whatever minions you like, and also bring some Curses support like [[Barbs] and [[Mark of Pain]. Have the hero bring [[Jagged Bones] and [[Death Nova] so that you don't have to worry about it!

If you really wanna play MM, make sure you cast death nova on most of the minions before encountering enemy groups, I usually do that myself when I ran MM

Capture Spiteful Spirit. That is a very very good skill, especially in hard mode.

Rits make good minion bombers but the do not have to target minoins to do it [explosive growth] to bad its spawning cause if a necro could use it to max it would be deadly

I was wondering how Aura of the lich work?

does it summon stuff even if you don't have a corpse? or its just like every other minion skill?

Do yourself a favor and leave the minion bomber to heroes. What you want to be is SS nuker. Much easier to play and very good in PvE.
