right, before you ask i've pvxwiki and there was loads of builds for each second proff for a necro..

which second proff for a Necro?

I asked my guildies and most said Assassin, but i really don't know!!
I really want a kick-ass second proff that will help quite abit, i once chose Rt, and i never got the hang of them both dwelling together.

Please help!!

from the statement you tried a N/rt i take you have factions

second profession doesnt matter
it can be changed anytime as soon as you've unlocked the other professions
to change your second profession you must be in an outpost or town

do the first 4 missions in cantha and you will reach senji's corner
there you can change your profession

Make sure you get [By Ural's Hammer] in there and I always find [Rend Enchantments] Helpful for the last slot

A necromancer doesn't actually need a second profession to achieve awesomeness.
But if you really want one, use the AP MoP nuker build posted earlier - it's stupidly powerful against nice big mobs.
