Default Signet of Suffering

I've tried all I can to make this Elite useful in anyway. Anyway at all. I thought maybe if we take some strong hexes and have this as an add on. Nope. Still useless. Then I tried using it with [Soul Barbs] and all I learned was that Soul Barbs is more usefull than SoS.


Has anyone found a use for this thing yet?

Signet of Suffering is stupid. It's a weak version of FoC. It has no merits or uses.
If you want something like it, take FoC. In my view, Pain of Disenchantment would be better.

Any potential use for SoS would be even less energy efficient than FoC.

There's a really silly gimmick-spiker idea for SoS with Mantra of Signets. Good for a laugh, I guess.

Problem would be that you'd still need 4-5 hexes on the target. Too much work for just a 140 x 2 spike.

For maximum effect, you'll need 4 hexes (at 16 curses). That's the real problem for Signet of Suffering (not to mention the 2 sec cast time and 20 sec recharge).
So that's at least 20 energy wasted prepping it (more if you use good hexes). Then if you want to use it more than once quickly, that's even more energy. And it's only single target damage.

recharge is too long, casting time too long, dmg is too conditional. especially when put next to something like [discord], lmao, it fails hardcore ;-)
