I've never done much farming before, but I'd like to try. However, my main is a Necro. One doesn't often hear about Necro farmers, so I wonder exactly how viable they are, or if I have to go back and (ugh) raise a new character.

So if they can be used, can anyone tell me how well they work, what builds to go with, and what areas to look at?

most necro farmers use a 55 SV build.

necros are well used in UW too, as a SS in UWSC (although RoJs are pushing them out a bit now) or with 55 in dual smite farm (again being pushed out by 600/smite)

both options are still viable and quite effective though
