Curse

I'm an SS necro and was wondering what the best overall weapon or set for curses I could use is.

I currently have a Deldrimor Curses Staff from beating Proph.

40/40 Curses Set.

20/20 Wand + 20/20 Offhand for max chance @ Half Cast and Half Recharge.

Also a +30e/-2 regen set is good for firing off a spell if you've sunk your energy too low and nothing has died yet to trigger Soul Reaping. Use this only in an emergency.

If using a staff I stick with 20% HC +1 curses +5 energy... probably not optimal but im too lazy to change.

40/40 curses, shield set with a +5 energy spear, 40/40 soul reaping, if you're running FF or that soul reaping energy management signet, +15/-1 energy offhand and wand for highset.

Switch accordingly.

With SS, a 40/40 Curses set is really all you should need.
If Barbs or Mark of Pain feature at all on your build (and they should); a +30hp Spear (+5e insc) and a +30hp Focus (+1 Curses or 20% HSR insc) work well too.

It's always advisable to have a shield set on switch. The extra armour may only be small but it can be enough to save your life.

Main Set:
F1. 40/40
F2+F3+F4. 3 sets of shields; Vs Slashing, Vs Piercing, Vs Fire/Blunt + Spear: 7 AL Vs Physical/Elemental +33% Weakness.

Inventory-Quick-to-Draw-Weapons:
I have all my other sets in my inventory just in case. They include:
1. 20% HCT +1 20% +5e.
2. +30e -2 e gen (99% useless, I'm just being paranoid)
3. Shields Vs different types of elements
4. Everything you think might be needed in special occasions.
