Discord Spiker Build
My guild will begin doing some Underworld runs soon. I will be one of two necros that will be doing the run consistently, and the other necro runs an BiP build. I could run SS, but I wanted to run Death Magic so I made this build.
Stats:
N/Me
Death Magic: 12+1+3
Soul Reaping: 12+1
Curses: 3
Asuran Title 5
Skill Bar
Enfeeble 5 .25 5
Asuran Scan 5 0 5
Arcane Echo 15 2 20
Discord 5 1 2
Necrosis 5 1 2
Mindbender 5 1 24
Soul Feast 10 1 0
Signet of Lost Souls 0 .25 8
Template Code: OAVDUsx3Q1BvlLBxM3grlgBVVA
Obviously Enfeeble and Asuran Scan are the condition and hex used to allow Discord to trigger. They are low cost/low recharge allowing them to be put back on quickly if they are removed. Arcane Echo is used to copy Discord giving you huge spamability. Necrosis adds another attack skill encase Discord is disabled or Echo is recharging in battle. Mindbender is to help you get echo off without getting interrupted as well as proving a nice speed boost. Soul Feast if for a nice heal in battle. My team at this time will not be taking a MM and thus there should be bodies a plenty. Signet of Lost Souls is for energy management/small heal.
1) Would it be worth it to replace Enfeeble with Enfeebling Blood?
2) Is a cover hex needed? It seems like most of the creatures do not have hex removal (minus the smites), but Parasitic Bond could be brought as a cover, or Asuran Scan could cover PB. Either Mindbender or Soul Feast could be removed.
3) Is Mindbender needed? If not, what would you replace it with?
What are your views about this build? What do you see as being possible flaws? Thanks for reading this far, any comments would be much appreciated!
P.S. I think this build is relatively original, but if it is a copy I apologize.

Parasitic bond makes a better hex over asuran, and discord is already way too spammable..., echo something else..putrid bile, rising bile..

I honestly don't see this doing a great deal of damage on it's own. For underworld you'd be better off with boring old SS or something. Single target damage from discord isn't that great.

SS is going to perform better than a Discord in UW, and why in the world is your other Necro going as a BiP? In and of itself, the Blood Magic line is pretty weak, and BiP is a waste of an Elite slot just as much as they are wasting attribute points investing in Blood...
To be honest, you would have to let us know the team build (since this would be a Guild Group) or else no suggestions we make are going to help you out.

I dont understand why you use Asuran Scan, you cant cast it while casting other spells and it has an aftercast delay. I think it's better to find a non-PvEonly hex and save a PvE slot for something you can actually make use of.

Thanks for the advice all. It is apparent that I would be better off just running SS. If nothing else, this build allowed me to beat the norn fighting tourney rather easily. Thanks again for the feedback.

SS build with PvE skills is one of the most powerful builds at HM on a Human Necro , if group works well and with proper target you will see huge numbers on your screen. Keep it up on curses !

Discord and necrosis are redundant. Also, why are you doing UW when you can UWSC?

Maybe some people like doing things the old fashioned way?

Sc is all well and good for farming up mad amount of cash
But if you want to still enjoy the game with your friends, a fun run in a real team is WAY more of a laugh :P

Considering his joining date, it's most likely that "the old fashioned way" for him is a week ago. It's more likely that he isn't aware of UWSC.
Besides, "fun" is a relative measurement tool, I for one, enjoy playing UWSC from time to time with guild mates and even pugs when forming a team isn't too much of a pain.
On the other hand, going tank and spank or the likes are too boring and time consuming for me to really enjoy.
With UWSC you can change roles after each (quick) run and even if not, you can go and help others once you're done and stuff like that.

Because reducing something to a 30 minute run kind of cheapens the experience, does it not?
And reducing something to the level of a job is counter-productive if I want to play a game.
With actual regards to the build:
(I'm choosing to ignore the fact that Discord and Necrosis combos are a bit silly)
You only deal single target damage, however individual mobs in the UW tend to be quite small (consisting of around 3 enemies each, sometimes a bit more).
It really depends on what your teammates are running.
From memory, only the smites have hex removal. Mindblade Spectres pack Hex Breaker, which is very annoying for any hex heavy build (especially in a group of 9 of them).
In general, Enfeebling Blood is better than Enfeeble in a PvE setting. Though with such a low curses spec, EB only lasts 8 seconds, compared to Enfeeble's 14.
Mindbender is fairly meh. It'll speed you up a bit, but the aftercast delay and recharges are the real issue when spamming 1 second skills. It'll speed up A-Echo, which is more or less a waste with Discord andNecrosis.
At best, it serves as an enchantment to waste enemy enchantment removal.

Despite what my join date might suggest, I have been playing guildwars for about 2 years. We wont be doing UWSC because some of my friends are relatively new to the game and we are doing it as something fun, not to farm or get money. I will be sticking to SS as that seems to be the overwhelming suggestion.
