Since none of the popular stuff like on PvX etc seems to interest me about general pve necro, I went and made my own to sort of suit myself...thing is i'm really not all that good at the game and decided to run it by you guys first before I attempt the 2nd half of factions+NF+eotn running this...(My account does not have access to skills exclusive to Prophecies)

12+3+1 Death Magic
8+2 Soul Reaping
10+1 Curses

Animate Bone Minions
Death Nova
Putrid Flesh
Parasitic Bond / or / Suffering
Discord [e]
Necrosis
Masochism
Signet Of Lost Souls

Basically, I'd have up masochism, and constantly have it up and constantly have atleast 1 bone minion handy at my side.
Then, when there is a battle, enchant my bone minion with death nova and let it run in, use putrid flesh on it.
This does some dmg + quite a bit of degen to a number of enemies, then I pick a target with the most hp and use Parasitic Bond (or suffering, for even higher degen)
Then I spam necrosis and discord until they die, getting some hp back from Lost soul signet and parasitic bond cos i'll need it due to masochism (if I have suffering I wont get any hp gain and it'll tire out healers)

So yeah it's kind of a minion bomb/discord spam/degen pressure build and all i'm going to use it for is playing through the game, doing missions/quests you know casual stuff no dungeons or farming or pvp.

This looks exactly like one of the discordway builds ;] it works really good but i would suggest a res. If you need a build to kill lots of stuff fast i would suggest this build (i use it myself) OAVCY8xUewSwewNIQlNYVVMJ ofc you can change "finish him" for a res.

For me I never take a rez. I prefer to take scrolls rather than waste a slot on my bar. I think you could take either EVAS,YMLAD or finish him depending on the area you are doing. I find those three skills helpful. You may also want to consider PI as it will synergize well with your Discord and helps out a bunch in HM. Depending on your party skills some of what you have presented I think could be dropped to avoid redundancy.

Not a real good use for discord and necrosis together, one Is spammable enough. I would take out discord and take a different elite. Maybe aura of the lich for more minions and higher death magic?

Wasted slot there. I would replace Discord with a better elite - you'd be hard-pressed not to find a better one.

But if you are bent on keeping Discord for some reason, then replace Necrosis with another PvE-only skill (YMLAD, PI, etc.).

No. Players cannot be bombers. At least, not normal human beings who lack idiot-savant level ability to track and remember minions and insect-like reflexes.
Bring Bone Fiend plus Vamp Horror.
Parasitic Bond / or / Suffering Whoa! No. PBond is bad and Suffering is remarkably terrible... for a curse build. What the hell are they doing here in a minion build? Get rid of them and free those points up for Soul Reaping.
If you really, really want to splash curses, run Enfeebling Blood (which works fine at low ranks), or maybe Barbs+MoP (which really pains me to see at less than 16, but go ahead if you really must splash curses).
Discord [e] Craptacular. Not only is this a bad skill, it's strictly inferior to Necrosis. There's no reason to ever use this on a player bar. (And Discordway hero bars make me barf.)
You're a human. You (presumably) have the intelligence to use Order of Undeath without killing yourself. You should do so.

Ebon Battle Standard of Honor should be standard issue on player minion builds.
Air of Superiority isn't a bad idea. The energy boost and recharge on vamp horror are quite nice.

OoU and EBSoH any time i would run a mm build in pve, might consider dropping curse and go in blood for a couple of nice skills.

Auto heal mininions by using blood bond, and protect yourself against spikes using "dark bond".

Although i dont know which skills are only for Prophecies, i do have some suggestions for your build ... First one would be to try and stick to just 2 Attributes, so in your case this would mean Death Magic and SoulReaping ... To have a curse available for Discord and Necrosis, use Purid Bile which gives you 20 sec to spam the target with Discord and Necrosis, to then have a Big Splash of AoE damage from Purid Bile when the target dies

... this i think is the most simple way to polish up your build, other then suggesting going entirely with a MM build or an entirely different build alltogether ...
And i would suggest taking a minor Soul Reaping for some more health..

So to sum it up:
Death Magic: 12 + 3 + 1
Soul Reaping: 12 + 1
Should leave: 6 rest points..

Armor:
Head: +1 death, Bloodstained, +3 death
Chest: Survivor, +1 Soul

Depending on your playstyle you can take other insignia's though i would recommend atleast 2 bloodstained to cut casting time by 50% ...

Weapons:
Wand: [email protected], HCT 20%, +5e
Offhand: Death, +12e, +15e^-1regen, +30HP

Now for the armor and weapons, i went with the options that give you decent HP and Energypool, you get energy from Soul and from the Signet, that should be enough to keep the build going, and your HP will be a tad higher then it was keeping it up mostly by using the Signet and rely on monks...

The way to go about this build:
Cast Purid Bile
Cast Necrosis + Wand foe to near death
Cast Signet
Kill Foe
Cast Masochism
Cast Bone Minions
Cast Death Nova
Cast Putrid Flesh
Cast Purid Bile
Cast Discord + Necrosis
Use Signet when foe is about to die
Repeat from 'Kill foe'

An idea could be to swap out the bone minions for the Vampiric horror, since you only need to blow one up every so often to apply desease, they can provide some extra health gain to counter Masochism... The Shambling Horror, which changes to a Minion that causes bleeding when it dies, could be a decent replacement aswell, you can blow up the origional to then still have a minion that causes bleeding and provides you the minions to keep your armor up...

Combining the build with Bloodmagic instead of Curses is also a decent option, esp. since the last skill update, still attribute wise you would be making yourself 'weaker' due to having to put points in there..

The last 3 skills you can basically choose which ever you want, personally i dont like minions very much, they tend to slow me down ... so i would mostlikely go with, Life Siphon (to get some HP regain to support my Masochism), and Purid Bile (to get a nice AoE splash when a foe dies) ... but you can put minions there aswell, the blood bond will heal them so they will live a tad longer, or bring a rez ... do note that the insignia change when you no longer use minions or corpses...
