Necro Tanks?
Would like to know if its possible for necros to act as tanks?
I'm just running a few dungeons with H/H team and would like to know what would be a good tank build (skills,runes..etc) i should be using.

No. In the past there was one sorta-kinda tank build that used AotL before it was reworked into a minion skill.

You could, in theory, tank, but you'd have to rely entirely on skills from your secondary class which defeats the point of doing it as a necro.
While there are necro skills that play a defensive role, they're all either debuffs that have no reason to be on the tanks bar (the tank takes less damage no matter who debuffed the enemy) or really minor self-heals that will pale in comparison to whatever your backline has.
Anyone can pseudo-tank though just by having a monk cast a bunch of prots on you, if you just want to be able to draw out the first hits in a fight. (if you actually plan to do this, take the skill Great Dwarf Armor on yourself for a decent prot that doesn't require attributes).

A necro can indeed tank. There are necro 55 and 600 builds out there that function just fine. However, there's no real advantage to tanking as a necro, and several disadvantages. Necros have a hard time getting permanent spell immunity, which is a big thing in today's modern tank. Monks and Sins still do it better. Necros are better off using minions or spirits to tank really.
If you're interested in getting into dungeon runs, its probably bets to roll a character other than a necro. Sin would be best, as they're part of most speed clear teams.

Anyone can act as a tank. Protective Spirit is your friend.

This is all depending on what you are tanking. If you are tanking Melee without enchantment stripping, then the Necro 55HP tank is much faster than a 55HP Monk due to the fact that you can deal much more damage because of the +4 Necro Attributes from Runes / Headpieces. The old LB farm against Exuro is much easier with a Necro, because you can also kill the Shadow Army groups as long as there are no Mesmers (The Monk doesnt deal enough damage to overcome the Shadow Monk healing in HM).
As a 600 HP Necro you usually outsource the SB cast to the Smiter Monk and take a damage elite instead.

Since you're the only human in the group, it'd be best to take the aggressive role in the group and instead fix your heroes to be better at healing and preventing damage. That's not the answer you want, but tank builds are generally worthless.

Best bet for most PvE is a high level minion army, Dark Bond, and spamming Blood of the Master on recharge.
