I can't tell if that's a question or a statement, but...

In a smite run there are very few times that you will need that long of a SpellBreaker, unless you're doing quests after the run. (and even then it's not really needed.) Bonetti's is pretty much needed if you plan on tanking more than 3-5 smites at once. Imo, Mo/W is the best way for a Monk primary to do UW.

In a smite run you never need that long of a SB. 15 seconds is fine for Dying Nightmares and Coldfires Nights. And as the person before me said, Bonettis Defense is needed for larger groups of smites, and also comes in handy for energy management against other mobs.

I just saw the movie, atleast a part of it, but how do you deal your damage? I mean, I see the monsters taking damage, but I have no idea what skill you use for it.

Thanks

I was wondering the same thing, could anone tell me how this damage is dealt. My SoJ doesn't do all of that.

Life steal ftw.
Also Rangers are becoming better and better farmers.

But yes, I love soloing with my war. It is quite fun. Since yes, playing as a 55 does get kind of boring at times. To mean, it's not overly fun when 3/4s of your skill bar are enchants. That I do it quite often, it's something fun to mess around with.

With wars, it's much more intense and much more of a challenge. To me, that's what makes it fun.

You could fight at places with enchant removeal and make the 55ing more challengeing and intense >_> 55 does not mean Uber unkillable .. There is still places that can bring up a good challenge

Sorry for the off-topic here...

You're probably gone for good and won't be reading this Cerb, but i also would like to thank you. Your guide is great, many people have said and i'm not one to press the point further. What i really wanted to thank you is for introducing me to Pan!c at the Disco's Camisado I've already bought it for my iPod and i know that for the rest of my life whenever i hear it i will remember Guild Wars and your video.

Hey, some games have certain music attached to it, what can i say?

As always, GL in RL.

Haha thanks! Of course I read this, I read every comment in my threads :P

Before I left GW, I wanted to record a fastest UW video with my new build (posted a few days ago), but unfortunately the update came in at a very bad time. Would have had some good songs in it too!

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the feedback!

thanks to the new update it is a lot more difficult to get large aggros. There is another thread that shows a few choke points that can be used to assist with this. However I'm not sure about these for when you are facing the smites

It is going to take a lot of work to figure out how to do all the quests in the UW since most of them required the monk to tank groups of at least six foes.

Folks PLEASE let this post die back to where it belonged...on page 50 or so.

I don't even think this works anymore?

Or does it?

Regardless please don't reply-ESPECIALLY if this doesn't work anymore.

Thanks!
