so ive been frequenting some forums and in the actual game ive been hearing people talking about a smiting monk. I dont get the concept for it, i mean the monk's smiting attribute increases it's damage output, but whats the point of that since they have the lowest attack in the game, can someone please tell me what a true "smiting monk" is...if you can please also send a build?

well there was no need to post 3 times :P. but a smiting monk ususes moves to deal a fair bit of damage to make the monk not totaly rubish in the offence output of the char. tho u cant achive the likes of SF and MS or SS u do a fiar bit of damage and it does work quite well ,exspecaly agaisnt the undead. and becuase a lot r signits thats a lot of damage output for no energy cost. really theres nothng worng with smiting its is in need of a buff yes but then so r a lot of things

All those question and exclamation marks is not going to help your understanding of the concept behind smiters. Lowest attack in the game? What are you talking about? Are we talking about the same game here?

ok there is nothing wrong with smiters put 16 in smiting and 9 in insperation and 10 or 9 in divine --> Signet of Judgement + Mantra of Inscriptions + RoD + Smite Hex + Power Drain + Strenght of Honor + Blessed Sig ok u have 16 smite that will do +16dmg with Strenght of Honor then u have 3 Warriors with Axes hmm 1 sec 1 att every 5 seconds +265dmg nice

and SoJ every 11 sec (79dmg and knockdown) and a nice interupt and hex removal what do u ask more from a damage dealer/supporter :O ? Smiter is the most efficent class imo dont be noob with calling it the lowest attack ingame,

You cna use /W,/E,/R or /N or maybe some of the new classes.You can use the 55 build at full health as well.You can cast SoJ on someone as ell as other spells.

I have been using this smiting build for quite some time now and recently completed all 3 chapters using it mostly with a hero/hench team.

It includes Lightbringers Gaze so swap it out for anything you like, a resurrection skill purhaps since my build does not use one.
