Hi,

I have a monk, with 2 running builds, the first is a Mo/A and te other one is the Mo/R southern shiver peaker, with the second build have tried many times the droks run, but it dont work.

Now i have 1 question:

Shall I go further with my monk or shall I make a dervish?

I myself much prefer running Warrior to any other class other than Ranger.I feel Balanced Stance is better to use unless you are stationary.I have Derv. as well and find Fleeting Stabilty a little tricky to use.When it comes to Monk they have great healing but not that great of armour similiar to the Derv.

I would suggest if you plan on running Droks it takes time to learn it and master it.There is a lot of investment as well runes,insignias and equipment.I would rather use a Monk to farm with eg the UW and you may make as much or some other places.I would suggest running with a Warrior and farming with a Monk.

Yes you can run with that build however it will take more time and investment when to find your rest stops for healing up.The great thing about using a Warrior is the high armour they use even those who have Derv prefer their Warriors over them for that sole reason 80+al vs 60 to 70al.Yes Monks can run Droks if you want to.

bottom line is, d/a can run droks far more easily than any monk, so why bother.
(you can certainly do it for the 'just because i can' factor, but you probably wont be doing forge runs for an actual source of income)

I would agree it is not the best way to make an income unless you do so many runs a day.Those that went to Ladies of Blue Steel Runners Academy sure paid a lot and it took some time to get what they put out back.

ive learnt how to run to droks (a friend taught me) i tried with Dervish and Monk the thing is with monk energy runs out extremly fast and you take a hell of alot of damage, and with the dervish you can go D/A for dark escape which is superb damage reduction,furthermore with mystism enchantments last longer also added armor helps : )) But thats my opinion..

Though I have this in mind but never try. Use teleport skills lol. Just make a chain of teleport skills lol from 1 foe to the next. Idk it might work, sound fun to me!

This would take a lot longer to learn and without deadly paradox to renew it.I wouldn't do this for running not for a Monk who can use Spell Breaker to take care of the castors.
