You suggest a monk brings another monk with prot or healing? Depending on player monks choice?
your..XXXXX ftw! is not a very great response. Please be more specific
thanks

I think the reason why he didn't give a very great response is because you're not asking a very great question. I would actually go as far to say that you're asking a terrible question.
Who cares which hero monk you choose, whether it's Tahikora, Dunkoro, or Ogden. Does it really make a difference. The answer is No!
Neither hero does a better job than the other. They all function under the same AI coding so it doesn't matter which one you use. The only differences between the three hero monks that are available is the skin, which has no effect on performance.

I don't think the original poster was asking which monk to use, but which heroes, in general, do you use when playing as a monk.
For me, most of the time I use Sab's 3 necro set up (jagged bones MM, SS and a restoration necro). Either that or a couple of elementalists and the resto necro. I find that for most situations, the resto necro is better than having a 2nd monk (hero or hench) along, otherwise I'll load up on damage/utility with my heroes and grab a hench monk.

when playing as my monk (healing) I bring along a prot monk. The AI is very fast and I would frequently notice that the target that I was healing was also being healed by the AI monks. This lead to a great deal of wasted energy. So then I changed to me being the healer (healer's boon) with one of my heroes being a prot monk. That way the AI could handle the fast intercept type stuff like RoF and the like (and the condition removal) whereas I concentrated on keeping the red bars up and the hex removal (cure hex).
You can do the opposite of what I do and play yourself as prot and have the AI do keep the red bars full, that works too. I just find having one human monk and one AI monk both with heal or hybrid bars tend to double heal/prot targets which leads to wasted spells and energy.
Beyond that the other heroes I use are: Savannah Heat ele and a slightly altered Sab MM necro (take out res, add in BR). The damage and the meat shields (and with enough meat shields encircling some foes they cannot move out of the high AoE damage zone).
For hench I just grab whatever. Herta is she's around, some warrior to charge into the fray, Eve for some more BR, and some utility type, ie interrupt or something.

I usually go SoR and take tahlkora as ZB. then (depending on map and foes), i usually take jagged MM Livia and pyre as BHA if needed.
Works mostly everywhere

When playing as a monk and a full H/H team:
option a) Paragon, Paragon, Necro (cruel spear, song resto, ss)
option b) Paragon, Ranger, Necro (song resto or cruel, BHA, ss)
option c) Paragon, Rit, Necro (song resto or cruel, Splinter w/ expel, ss)
Henchmen vary depending on which option I run and what area I'm in.

Paragon, rit, necro usually (cautery, expel/splinter, ss), and will switch out one of those for bha if needed.
Sometimes I go ranger, necro, ele (bha, ss, mind blast/ward) in certain areas where physicals aren't as advantageous.

Rits, Motivational Paragons with DAnthem and Necros going /Rt or /Mo are much more preferable in my opinion. Only times I really bring monks heroes is if I'm doing a NF mission that requires it or I'm doing Shards of Orr

I use tahlkora for the most part but what I discovered is it is best to have them on guard instead of avoid. The reason for this is because they will kite and don't do it in avoid they just stand there.

Seeing how I trust your builds over most others, could you post the actual skills?
Much thanks.

I generally run a healing build (as a monk)
For normal mode, general missions, questing etc I run:
Hero 1: SF ele
Hero 2: SF ele
Hero 3: SF ele
skills are.. searing flames, fire attunement, glyph of lesser energy, glowing gaze.. and.. those are pretty much the 5 you need. Throw in a res, mark of rodgort maybe and w/e you want.
Strengths of this build are: Unparralleled firepower. Things die in SECONDS. Weaknesses are i guess, no interrupt? But who needs interrupts in normal mode pve?
Also, if you need to kill annoying bosses like.. the monk ones in the ring of fire missions, just change the eles to E/Me, and bring diversion and backfire. Otherwise 3 SF eles are way more than enough to burn away anything you'll find in normal mode.
For hard mode I use Sab's triple necro build (posted somewhere here on guru). The PvX link is here: http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:Te...Necro_Vanquish
The strengths of that is.. well.. its a very hard build to fail at. If you are at least decent at monking and you are smart with pulling and stuff.. you will NOT die. Weakness is that in areas with no corpses, the minion master necro becomes useless, in which case I replace with a Broad Head Arrow ranger.
One thing to watch out for with ALL heroes (and hench) is that they like to group up. Like a lot. So me being lazy, run a Healer's Boon/Heal Party build to mitigate any AoE dmg, and i let the hench cover for all the normal healing.
