This is the Smite Monk I used the whole way through GWEN (the plotline), only changing to a prot build for the Great Destroyer himself.

I can draw with this build and initialize aggro without any trouble in most cases.
I usually brought 2 elementalists and one minion master for heroes and typically added cynn for damage or lo sha for hexes or zho for interrupts as the situation required.
In particularly tough areas I formed "Team Prismatica", meaning my smite build mentioned above, 3 elementalist Heroes ( 1 fire, 1 water, 1 air) and then added Herta for the final henchman slot. All 4 elements ... prismatic.... team Prismatica!
Dungeons are a different matter. You'll have to dig deep and use everything available to put together a team for GWEN dungeons.
