How to fix monking (or make it more fun)
This is pretty much inspired by JDRyder's post, but since I know which skills are getting buffed, I feel it's a bit awkward if I posted in there.
Anyways, I'm here to hijack his thread and here's the list I think should be changed:
(stats listed as 0 spec..15 spec)
Divine favor:
Blessed light: 5e. Lose 2e if condi is removed. Lose 3e if hex is removed.
Boon signet: 7r. 14..100 heal. 0..3 energy every ench, max 1..8.
Divine Intervention: 15r. 5 duration.
Peace and Harmony: 10..45 duration. +2 regen.
Scribe's Insight: 10..60 duration.
Watchful healing: 1/4 cast.
Healing Prayers:
Healing hands: 10r. 4 duration.
Healing light: 5..130 heal. 3r.
Healing ring: heals caster.
Light of deliverance: 10..80 heal.
Mending: 1c. When ench ends, target gains 10..80 health.
Supportive spirit: 5e. 1/4c. 5..50 heal.
Protection prayers:
Amity: 15r. 5..12 duration.
Aura of stability: 3..7 duration. Self target.
Divert hexes: 5e. 1..2 hexes.
I'll finish the rest when I care about the game more...

Oh, okay.

This skill is good as it is in my opinion, but could do with a buff like this!

Boon signet: 7r. 14..100 heal. 0..3 energy every ench, max 1..8.

Always liked this skill.

I like the sound of it, but I'm sure a quick RoF will have practically the same effects?

Same as Boon Signet.

The problem with monk elites at the moment is that it's too rewarding to take the simplest option. It's easy to see why people like conservative options like WoH when the risks of using other more situational elites far out-way the reward.
In a perfect world, simple red bar skills like WoH would just be stepping stones for beginning monks until they moved on to the more advanced elites such as Blessed Light that require more active thought and application to be used effectively. Properly managing the risk/reward factor will also reduce the "luck" or build-wars aspect of other elites.
I would also like to see in situations where you have similar spell effects (ie. the entire healing line), manage the skills so that you have some easy to use but less effective ones, while other's require more active thought but reward appropriate use with stronger or more versatile effects. A good example is comparing Divine's Supportive Spirit and Aura of Stability suggestions. While Supportive Spirit lasts longer and can be maintained on multiple targets, the reward is significantly less useful than Aura of Stability, which would need to be used more actively due to it's increased downtime.
