Izzy didn't like it. So instead of removing it from the game, he just nerfed the hell out of it for PvP.

They didn't remove it because it would be kind of difficult I guess.

There wasn't anything that could be done to 'fix' that particular mechanic, so it was removed from PvP. Good choice imo.

They couldn't remove it completely because of coding, so they just super nerfed it instead

never used the skill, never really thought to

But letting them nerf our skills, ius like letting a Prison mate rape you repeatively, it tears u down emotionaly each time it happens, and we've been raped to the point where ACCTUAL veteran players(who i knew since GW prophecies first came out), just wont buy anymore A-Net products and preffer WoW over GW now, because atleast in WoW your skills NEVER change from month to month, but hey we all think different.

...yes they do. Now maybe not so much, they're doing an expansion which changes pretty much every skill in the game, but afterwards, they'll continue the month long cycle of changing skills.

If you had actually, you know, read about GW before you bought it, you would have known that the entire point of the skill-based play was to have a balanced game, especially in PvP, which is impossible without frequent skill balances. That's what we paid for; the "veteran players" who actually give a damn about what GW originally was are the ones who should be clamoring the loudest for skill balances. It's the scrubs like you who think this is WoW-lite with no monthly fees that complain about them, because you didn't know what you were buying. That's on you.

It is supposed to be ether renewal'd (lol) until they find something better to do with it. It just had to go for now because it led to degenerate GvG and TA builds (from Izzy's pov)
