No,no energy management,no balance,just go with a N/Rt or N/Mo MM.

Yes.I know someone who does this over at GWincgamers and I find it totaly fine probably good with pugs as it uses UA.The person takes a lot of them through Fort Ranik but I have seen others do it as well when playing Monk.

Thread died over a year ago.You seriously can't be suggesting that this build is actually good?It makes hamstorm look like meta

No Soul reaping = Bad MM.
The ONLY exception to this is rits using spawning power or explosive growth to make decent MM's and MB's, but that's another subject.
One of the things that make a MM as good as it is is nearly infinite energy from SR because his minions keep dying around him giving a steady flow of energy that he can use to easily raise more minions and for whatever other skills you put on his bar.
That's the basis of sabway setups.
DF does nothing to help a MM like SR and to a lesser extent spawning power does, so there's really no reason for doing it on a monk primary.
If she wants a hero that can both raise minions and heal she should look at N\Rt or N\Mo with minions and various heals and SR to fuel their energy, although given the heroes' stupid AI i can already imagine them healing their minions so i dont know how good this idea is.

Those of you talking about Rt bombers are missing the key point: they get Boon of Creation, which cuts ABM to 3e net. Spawning Power and Explosive Growth aren't worth shit for emgt.
As for the OP; I don't see why you'd want to run a Mo MM, even if it were viable.

1. As for a monk primary -- NO. Bad idea. You don't have the energy management to support minions, or the runes to give them full stats.
2. As for necro primary. Still a bad idea. You may have the energy, but you can't possibly be a responsive healer if you're tying yourself up in 3sec cast every few seconds.

The idea of discussing a primary N build is to give the OP something to take to his guildie,in the form of an actual working MM build, not to reverse the build onto a necro

That's all well and good. I like working MM's. I wasn't referring to your suggestion in particular. Sorry if it came across that way. I was merely reiterating that healer+MM builds, which are simply bad, no matter what.

And you really cant post on a public forum and say a post isnt for someone to read .You post it, its fair game for anyone to read and reply to.
But no, a Monk cant handle MM let alone MM+heal/prot ect with its Emanagment (in ANY serious form)...Take the pale little emo for that job.. pretty much all she wrote.
