hey!

as first, if this is posted somewhere yet, pls delete this - was searching around but didnt find 55/105hp solo for raptors with monk.

Created this build months ago, but didn't notice there is currently no such build posted on guru/wiki, so i thought i may post it

I'm sure many ppl will be happy to use it for upcoming golden "egg's/bunnies" weekend

enjoy!

Anyway, this is very easy build to use, runs are fast - with putting up enchantments + running to cave + luring them all(not boss group!) it usually takes 2 - 2,5mins max.

these are skills + attribute points(all superior runes of course!) My head piece is healing, but you shouls just use whichever you want.

THIS BUILD WORKS WITH 55hp OR 105hp!

now, how to use it?

1st put up Balthazar spirit + blessed aura. Then w8 till a raptor patrol go away from cave and run in. Use skills in tis order then: mantra -> protective spirit -> shielding hands(last longer than SoA, so you can lure all nestlings in one shot without re casting SoA). Re cast SoA/shielding hands when they are about to end. When you lured all Nestlings you wanted to, use Shield Of judgement followed by Radiation Field(they'll be knocked down, which will give you chance to cast it without beign interupted!). when their hp will go about 50% some of them will run away, but duo to health degen, they will not heal up. Re cast Radiation Field when it recharges. When field is up again they'll probably run back in it and duo to degen they will all die!

This is nearly the build I use. I take balthazar's aura instead of radiation field., I don't know if this make a big difference though ...

dunno - radiation field speed this run up greately! - build i posted works like a charm for me

and is fast enough for my taste

nice build, been using it for months now

radiation field really speeds things up if you get the raptors with their left side to the wall so they dont run away!

yep, been using this at first, but laters realized it doesnt make big difference. Sometimes it made me lure boss group when i did it, so i stopped. Still fast even if they run for few secs as radiation is killing them all the time. and when they come back in, normal radiation degen + disease degen = pwnage

This is indeed an effective build, Have used it for a few days to get my monk ready for the event.

The only annoyance this has is the occasional badly timed skill causing it to get interrupted, But it's still the best of all the monk builds I've tried.

yep, i usually counter it in this way: SoJ -> w8 for them to stand up -> SH/SoA -> Radiation Field

i rarely gt interupted then, also i do most of the run 55hp, but during this i change to 105hp to get staff with +energy mods, so it's harder for them to get my energy to 0

Guardian, here's a better idea:

Activate resolve as you run in, (With SH on you) Wait till your energy is full, then cast SoA, wait till it's full, then cast SoJ, then cast Radiation Field.

Waiting till it's full means you can ''Tank'' 8-9 interrupts per skill.

yeh, i run in with mantra, as i lure 1st raptor i cast PS + SH, then i run around to lure all groups(except boss group), recasting SoA/SH as they go off/recharge, then when i have all nestlings on me, i w8 for full energy, then i cast SoJ, w8 for a secs, then i cast SH/SoA and recast mantra. Then i use Radiation Field.

also for this weekend i highly suggest NM runs as you get eggs/bunnies and run takes less than 1,5min

Thank you very much for the build, Guardian. I was playing around with different builds but eventually gave up. I wasn't using Radiation Field :P Anyways, tried your set and it worked great. I did modify it slightly though, and you might want to give me some feedback as to whether it's better or not. I replaced Blessed Aura with Balthazar's Aura and noticed things dropped a lot quicker. I was still able to chain Shielding Hands and Shield of Absorption. Make sure that mobs have the lefts to a wall, as Nelis mentioned. I use the rock West of the East entrance (far from the boss :P)

Excuse me, I play PvP only, not farmed in ages, anyway, where are this raptors? what place? I hope it works with Radiation Field in level 1? if I go there with my retired Monk.

i mean there is that one asuran skill that blacks 50% of the time, but still, thats only 50%.
