They have meta tags on PvX wiki now, look for the builds tagged with them.

builds with meta tags are meta. stop asking for builds. you probably just suck at running them.

Who runs this? Anyone? I haven't seen anyone run this...
[this;OwEU02HCzKSbENgCE+D2EKEfP4FA]
The problem with the builds on wiki is that that they only give a vague idea of what people are running and give crap examples, where as I'm looking for builds that actually don't suck.
Who has pnh, deny and divine spirit in RA..?
I see people use...
[build prof=Mo/W][patient spirit][guardian][peace and harmony][vigorous spirit][dwayna's kiss][/build]
The rest of that crap isn't there.
They have like [[cure hex] and [[spotless mind] instead, and then either [[shield bash] or [[return], and maybe instead of one of the first two, [[dark escape]. Heck, a lot have [[signet of rejuvenation].
It still has dual stance WoH up there as meta, which pretty much nobody uses after the [[disciplined stance] nerf... 3 seconds at 9 spec is worthless (at 5 energy), spike protection or not. For example... I was using this earlier...
[ex;OwET04nCRqBUgomQjoeYTbtACEA]
It works fine, but it isn't what everyone else is running...
Maybe these are okay for noobs to get a general idea of what people are running, but... Ah, whatever... you people are probably the ones who posted the crap in the first place. I guess I'll just have to observe the builds manually in-game.

That, or with [balanced stance][shield bash] instead is what i use in RA. Lately i've been using more /W when doing RA and /A for AB

If everyone else was running off a cliff, would you?
Meta builds are for people who aren't original enough to run their own crap.
Also, in before close, because you're not suppose to ask for builds, correct me if I'm wrong :P

Only if they had fow, chaos gloves and tormented weapons. Then it must be the right thing to do.

While this can be true for most cases, this is certainly untrue for Monks. Running a non-meta Monk build only results in being suboptimal and weak.

Yes yes, I realize "RA is srsbsns."
You know, at one point in time... I probably would have said the same crap, but since I'm not in a top 10 guild anymore, have been gone too long to get back in touch with current high level GvG (meaning, I suck now and my friends list with top players took the WoW plunge), I'm not even interested in the top guilds because the majority of the GW community has went into this retarded memester shit that was the horrible shit players that never made it into top guilds or good teams when I played (and I absolutely despise it, and them), and since I'm not really interested all that much in GW, RA is just about the only thing I bother doing now aside from blowing my XTH money every month for the hell of it. Savvy?

Yeah, it does actually... There is a lot of random stuff (obviously), but there's always certain trends.
Like, at one point Monks ran frenzied defense and zb, then the meta shifted and they changed. Most meta shifts are triggered by nerfs or buffs.
For example, from time to time there's a ton of certain types of sins (go figure... buff, nerf, buff, nerf).
You get the idea.
The only one that particularly matters is Monk, the rest can be completely random, as long as it remotely does anything valuable whatsoever. Unless you don't care about winning at all, then I don't suppose it would matter.
I care about winning because I'm competitive. I don't care about going back to the higher levels of play for the above mentioned reasons.
So, I will continue to casually do not f all on GW until a better MMO comes out, but I prefer to not suck too atrociously while I'm not doing that f all that I previously mentioned.
Kay? Thanks.

Empress, Axel was correct in stating that asking for builds will get a Thread closed. Check out the General Campfire Posting Guidelines, it's stickied for a reason.
Since (somewhat of a) discussion has started, I'm not going to Close this Thread, but, I'm going to have to say that you would be much better off checking the Gladiator section of the Forums - it's all about PvP, and has an RA section. You'd probably get better answers there.
For my 2 cents, I understand the frustration with PvX, it doesn't seem to get updated as much as things shift game-side. Dual-stance is definitely out since the nerf-bat slammed Tactics stances, tho.
I usually run a WoH Heal/Prot hybrid when I take my Monk into RA, just my preference. PnH has seen a lot of use lately since its buff, as well.

The build I've been running and getting consistent streaks with (as in, 5+ almost every time):
[Patient Spirit][Word of Healing][Signet of Rejuvenation][Guardian][Dismiss Condition][Spotless Mind][Holy Veil][Return]
Pretty obvious usage... Just a note, Sig Rejuv is superior to other options (SoA, Vig Spirit, etc.) in my mind simply because it allows for passive energy management while topping off those bars that are down to 75%. Time it to get a nice free Patient-like heal. Profit. Oh, and Return is effing awesome against the physical meta of now. And there are lots of fun things posible with it (D'Allesio Arena is funny with the bridge above and all).
I've tried just about every WoH/PnH variation, and this is the one that has yielded the most success for me.

I like jaigoda's bar but i usually put in dark escape as its great for dealing with ele's and spikes.
Deny hexes and divine spirit are good arena skills. Always good to bring if you have room. I sometimes bring divine in TA when alot of the guilds are running gimmicks so i can redbar my way through.

Yes it is. If you're personally having problems with Hexes, then you run Deny and Divine so you have 2 spells removing 3+ hexes a piece.
PnH is on about 30% of monks - a good monk with PnH will be much more frustrating than a good monk with WoH, mainly because your Necromancer hexes don't work anymore.
The PnH build has big heals and big hex removal. Of course, against concentrated melee pressure, it might collapse, but the same goes for WoH against hexes and conditions.
I don't know about vig spirit on a PnH bar...I think you'd use Shield Bash instead.
