Default Vanquishing with monk

I would like to ask for some help, i just want to start VQ ing all the areas, and because i dont realy have a mate with me, i would do it alone.
So if you can lend me some information about the best build for me (monk) for the heroes (i use discord now, but they sux sometimes, and i dont know what should they be [ healer discord, or whatever]) and the henches i should use too. Which areas are the hardests, the easiests, and so on.

8-man areas for henchies: 2x Eles + Monk + Charge!-warrior (if possible)
6-man areas for henchies: Ele + Monk

You and your heroes should be the main dmg source. Go RoJ or AP. Gimmick yes I know, but the fastest yes.

OR if you don't want to smite, you could take Pain Inverter + Summon Ruby Fire Djinn.

Don't forget to check out the PUGs and Grouping section of Guru. Lots of title hunters are looking for people to vanquish with and in some Tyrian 6-man explorable areas, you would much rather have a human with hero(es) as opposed to the level 10 henchmen. Also, if you are guildless, start seeking some high-end guilds that has a focus on title-hunting. Playing the game solo I believe should be the last option, and henchmen and heroes are not nearly as talkative or entertaining as real people.

((Though this seems off-topic, I feel that the problem here is you don't have anyone who wants to go with you as opposed to you wanting to do it alone, hence your comment of "because I don't really have a mate with me". Hopefully this gives a different route for you to choose from.))

P.S. My IGN at the side is my main character and I am a title hunter. If you ever want to vanquish, feel free to add me and whisper me in game. I'd love to help you get started and further my own title tracks as well.

Also, if what you want is to actually vanquish alone based on preference, then make sure to include some damage on your bar. It focuses the targets of henchmen and heroes a lot easier as opposed to healing and hoping they will focus fire. SABway and Discordway are both builds I suggest using for general vanquishing and Hard Mode.

Good luck vanquishing! ^^

Note: Do NOT use Charge! Warrior when VQ'ing Echovald Forest. Wardens of Earth with Churring Earth will kill you when Devona will shout it in the least expected moment.

I'm working on my vanquishing title too, as a monk. I suggest joining different guilds looking for people willing to vanquish with you. Its the best way to meet people also interested in vanquishing, and when you offer to pop a set of 'cons', most people are more than willing to bring along their discords with you knowing that it'll be easier now, with you and cons, then with someone else later.

I've also 600/smite/ranger/mesmer some areas, such as the 4-man areas. also all of the Shiverpeaks. All you need is a ranger with QZ(to keep up Spell Breaker forever), forzen soil(to prevent res), and diversion(on the meser to stop monks from being a pain).

GL to you.

If you're willing to burn consets, vanquishing becomes easy to the point of not being worthy of serious discussion.

If you have problems with four-man areas, learn to micro your heroes.

As for build, AP caller with discord heroes is probably the most braindead/efficient. That said, I finished VQ over a year ago with standard balanced H/H team and had no problems, so build pretty much doesn't matter as long as you don't take something too shitty. This is PvE, after all.

AP
YMLaD
Finish Him!
Prot Spirit
Seed of Life
Aegis
Shield of Absorption
Optional

Basically you spend 80% of the time calling discord and maintaining aegis. If anything remotely threatening approaches your party you can fire off some well-placed prots, then get back to button mashing.

I play a similar bar when running Discordway H/H. Basically the necessary damage to spike and fill the rest with extra layers of defense.

For Sabway I like to run RoJ, the minion wall usually stops enemies for some nice damage.

Mo/Me (12+1+1 Smiting, 12 Inspiration Magic)

RoJ
Arcane Echo
Assassin Support
YMLaD!
Finish Him!
Auspicious Incantation
Ether Signet
Castigation Signet

When teaming with other players, standard bars. Either WoH-hybrid, Healer's Boon, or Prot, all depends on team setup and party size.
