btw everyone, try farming hydra's. ive gotten 2 -20 health offhands from them recently. with a 15% DP just switching out the -50 for the -20 gives you 13hp, ive found you can take on much larger groups at 13hp for a short amount of time. when your DP recovers up to 6-7% then switch out back to the -50 again and continue to take on bigger groups til your DP is gone

You can clear unwanted guests, smites, terrorwebs, vale + quest, mindblades with very high luck (I've managed it once, and only once), and twin serpent mountain. Max tanking without dp = 15 smites with slow reduction of hp, 12~ smites forever. You'll need SoD for more than 5. You may drop FC for more prot if you wish, I use FC so I can challenge mindblades.

Ill add the guide to the build to the first post over the weekend.

The build seems solid, and I know I'm below optimum (can't get a high enough enchanting bonus on the sword) but for the life of me I cannot target the nightmares and my UW runs end within moments of starting. Any suggestions on targeting?

Do enough runs to know the usual spawn points, so that you're already ready to target when they pop up.

I always carefuly aggro aatxe with an illusion wand and wait a few second for a possible nighmare pop. When I'm hearing nightmare, I'm using the ctrl button to show all available targets and I click on the nightmare, interupt it and kill it. Also, a good thing is to choose an high screen resolution (1400x1050 for my concern) and placing camera as far as you can : this will give you a large range of vision and you're not gonna miss the bad guy

Thanks for the suggestions. I hadn't realized there were spawn points and that they were spawning randomly. Between keeping an eye out for "threat places", looks like there are perhaps 3 in that first room that may or may not have a nightmare, and keeping the camera back I was able to catch them and clear the first room!

Just to let you guys know, The new +5 energy Katana from Crafter at the end of Imperial Sanctum, the Last Factions Mission, helps a TON! Add a 20% enchanting pommel and you are set.

I have ench last 10% longer mod (could get better :L), what other mod should be?
Is there place to train this build, with same skills? (there was avicara builds etc, but they use SoJ)

-50 offhand, quest 'Cities of Ascalon'

Practice build on Losaru bladehands (they have ripostes) or any melee mob (minotaurs in desert etc).

I went to UW to try. I killed two Aatxes, and it felt very nice (never soloed in UW). Then Nightmare suprised me (dont know locations yet), and I got killed.

I tried 55 necro and didnt like it much but i love mesmers...mabey i should have read this before buying all those monk sup tatoos =(

Still think i should make one? i mean you can farm more places with this build....i think....makes sense anyway.

/Edit: ya its cool that i made a 55 monk, some places you cant farm unless you have bonetties and SoJ so i guess ill have both ^_^
