I have just got the mesmer hero but have not played mesmer before.

Can anyone help with a build that the hero can work.

How many skills do you have out of the mesmer profession?

I don't have a mesmer hero yet, but I do have a mesmer and a N/Me (who has all of the mesmer elites in F and P).

I just turn my Olais into a N/Me and do interupts from time to time. He interupts very well. If I choose hexing, then I go with my curse and blood magic spells over illusion.

Interupts are my suggestion.

I don't know what you have access to (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall).

I have all three campaigns and can cap an elite from most areas.

Nice skills to have for a mesmer interupter are Web Of Disruption, Cry of Frustration, Mantra Of Recovery(MoR) and since they are hero's some energy management such as chanelling, leech signet and energy tap. If you find energy a real issue, swap out MoR with Mantra Of Recall, or run a BR necro alongside you(eve does quite a nice job)

A key tip is how you use the heroes. If you let them choose whatever target they like, chances are it wont be the one you need. Make sure you lock them on the target and just watch it twitch. Target high damage casters(Ruby Djinns, terror webs for example or pesky monks although most PvE monster monks are'nt that great tbh)

Since you are playing warrior, maybe add in epidemic to the mesmer build so you can spread bleeding,dazed, and deep wound on the mobs for extra damage.

TBA not that mank, the only elite I have is the echo one which I was trying to use on my assassin.

Though I have enough skill points available to open up almost anything, and some balthazar points for pvp / hero use

Cry of Frust, Leech Sig, Mantra of Recovery, Power Drain, Web of Disruption, Empathy, Res Sig, Shatter Hex.

If there are energy problems, change his elite to something else, perhaps echo/glyph of renewal.

The only real advantage of an AI is reaction time, so you might as well abuse it
