My Mesmer name is a really simple combination of two first names.

I like Mysti, because it has that mystical element of a Mesmer.

Then Lynn just went well with Mysti.

Mysti Lynn. Sounds kinda porno, but then, Mesmers tend to look the part

Since mesmers always seem to be classy girls and guys something like prince or duke or dutches would be appropite also something invlolving mind or illusions considering thats what mesmers are all about.

Thats why I named mine "Mente Principe" in spanish that means Mind Prince.

Not sure how i came up with my Mesmers name. I wanted to call her Sun but did not have a clue what second name to have. Was originally going to be "Sun Celestialgazer" but in the end i named her "Sun Stargazer"

She was a Canthan which is why i wanted to name here Celestialgazer. So i really got my influence off the continent she was made on.

Hmmm... I diidn't have any problem as my characters are always ***** of Fiery Doom. (My messie is Lady of Fiery Doom). If you have a main theme, try to use that. If not...be creative, I suppose.

Skim across the skill lists and try to find a word that catches your eye.

all of my characters have japanese names.....my mesmers are all related (all 3 of them...one from each chapter)...Mimi (see), Haru (spring), and Miata (anime character)....last name Tsu (port)......
you can use a foreign language a pick a word .....my husband likes to use greek and latin for his character names.

my first character i named Aeon Demigod, aeon (i like it)/ Demigod (one of my fav bands albums)

so my other characters are demigod assasin, Demigod Mesmer, etc...

Mesmer names were easy. Just use puns.

Aunty Caster - Anti-caster mesmer
Aunty Melly - Anti-melee mesmer
Pro Castinator - Anti-caster mesmer

However, if you want an awesome name, end the name with -ator or -rah. Those suffixes just ooze with awesomeness.

Like The Mesmerator or The Mesmerah. Just look at all those awesome Japanese foes like Mumrah, Mothrah, Hedorah, or Mecha King Ghidorah.

I just use Swift in all my char names except for the few that are named after friends and my second char(which is a monk). Then I find another word that works with the class.

My PvP mesmer name used to be Arcane Mimicry, but as soon as I got all the relevant elites and gear on my PvE, I dropped the name and I assume someone else took it by now.

Mimi(耳) is Ear I really doubt tsu means port

My character names are always based on song titles by my favourite bands...mostly red hot chili pepper song names - problem is that other people use them too, so I usually have to go for the songs that most people havent heard of

I usually try to connect my characters name with his profession, like:

- Dfx Gladiator = (Gladiator = Warrior)
- Ilusion Hunter = (Hunter = Ranger / Ilusion = Mesmer) = R/Me
- Flameseeker Dfx = (Flame = Elementalist) *here with a reference to prophecies also*
- etc...
