Fav Mesmer Elite
Simply put....whats your favorite mesmer elite?
I would be interested to see how many people use the same elites >. Because of many of the not so great elites there are. ( *cough* power flux) That are just...not that great or under used.
My fav gottas ta be Energy Surge, I used to always use it, great for most of my builds!

It's just so much fun to use in RA and TA..
Pve:
[skill]Hex Eater Vortex[/skill]
Damage causing Hex Removal! It's a nice replacement for Shatter Hex

[skill]Power Block[/skill]
This skill destroys PvE and is pretty good in PvP as well.

My fav is [skill]Power Block[/skill], great for shutdown of targets since most tend to favour one spell attribute to focus on per build. Other than that, [skill]Migraine[/skill] is a great skill though moreso in PvP than in PvE since enemies tend to die fast. It is useful against monks though since a good number of healing spells cast fairly quickly making interruption more difficult.

It would definately have to be a tie for me between [skill]ineptitude[/skill] and [skill]migraine[/skill]. Oh and for farming purposes and just for plain fun [skill]illusionary weaponry[/skill]

I don't really have a favourite elite though, I tend to have a lot of fun with all of them, though if I had to choose any I would say Manta of Recovery, I loved it when it cost 15(!) energy, now its just plain awesome.
How do you input those icons?

With all the single-line characters in GvG, this skill is far more useful than before.
Water or air eles?
Curse necroes?
Illu or dom mesmers?

PvE:
[skill]Energy Surge[/skill]
Great damage and awsome at weakening mobs. PB is nice too but its definetally not my favorite, E-Surge has gotten me out of a lot of tight situations.
PvP:
[skill]Ineptitude[/skill]
It seems like this skill would be more appropriate in PvE because most monsters will attack through it. But you'd be supprised, if timed correctly, how many actual people attack right through it as well. Works great in AB and i have won 5 matches in a row, just slaughtering melee characters.

sry but i don't understand all the huss around Energy surge..
even with arcane echo and energy burn its still kinda crappy, not enough damage to adjacent foes or anything, SS surely beats it.

[skill]Fevered Dreams[/skill]!
Epidemic is nice and all, but I find the target is dead before I can transfer the conditions (usually deep wound is the killer). Just set your heroes to conditions ([skill]Virulence[/skill] and [skill]Broad Head Arrow[/skill] work wonders) and have fun.

[skill]Psychic Distraction[/skill], [skill]Power Block[/skill] is also fun.
[skill]Expel Hexes[/skill] is good, but is more of a utility elite that is better placed on things that aren't mesmers since you don't have to use any attributes to get it's benefits (eg. Paragons / Rangers)

Not extremely powerful, but with [skill]Arcane Thievery[/skill] its GREAT fun to turn enemy spells against them (in PvP or PvE)
