For males I think that 15k enchanter chest piece with the rest as droks enchanters, Tyrian, or Obsidian armor looks the best on a mesmer.

I like the female 15k Noble Armor (I think that's what it's called). However...the stats suck.

Male:

1.5k Tyrian and Krytan. I'm a simple man, and I like the fact that those look like... well, clothes. Dull, aren't I?

I kinda like the new 1.5k Istani as well, and Ancient looks great. Primeval's alright too.

The factions armours are pretty awful. I could maybe deal with the standard Luxon, though with a different mask.

Female:

Don't play one, but if I did, I'd probably snag Vabbian or Sunspear.

For female mesmer (as that's what I play):

Prophecies: 15k Rogue
Factions: 15k Canthan
Nightfall: None have really had me drooling like the above two, but I like Vabbian the most.

I'm currently sat in Marhan's trying to talk myself into getting the 15k Rogue set, and have just finished levelling my NF heroes so I can hopefully blast through Factions to get the 15k Canthan!

That armor combo is actually very good looking, likely due to the fact of the dye you applied. But it's very nice looking to be honest...almost warrior'esk.

yeah, other dye colors aren't the best on that combo.... white is pretty much the same on all armors, but different armors take different colors in a different way.... and its really upsetting.

Like if I died it all green, the top would be like a pastel green, the bottoms would be a dark forest green, and the boots would be a bright in your face over-saturated green..... I keep trying different dyes and always end up back with white.

I was going to post my mix but you beat me to it! Well, I use 15k enchanter boots, but the rest is the same. I do occaisonally get comments about it too.

I still have my old combo too:

15k Rogue top
1k Sunspear legs
15k Enchanter boots
gloves of course don't matter

And only very rarely do I show my mask, 10k Ancient, but I don't really like any of the masks.

Edit: I've had a chance to see your screenshots now, spittin' image of my mes, 'cept I dyed the top and boots black, the hose green, and the gloves red. Anyway, I agree your colour scheme looks very nice.
